Best coffee experience in Pittsburgh and beyond. This café deserves 5 stars and nothing less! It has absolutely amazing and very unique roasts, the staff is super knowledgeable and friendly and the place has a wonderful and calming vibe 🥰☕️
Great coffee shop in Pittsburgh. Visiting in from Maryland I was looking for a new place to visit. Minimalistic decor as the focus was the quality of the coffee. They did not disappoint. Thanks Amy and Cliff for a great experience. I will be back again on my next visit.
Had planned on checking out Constellation for awhile, as we love to support independent, Pittsburgh coffee shops. Disappointed with the whole experience. Felt like I was back at the beginning of COVID. The coffee was not up to par (and didn't even fill the cup). Add the lack of hospitality / no dine in / masks / just plain weird atmosphere. Won't be coming back. Plenty of better options in Pittsburgh.
Loved the atmosphere so much and all the gorgeous sunlight through the windows! Lots of people seem to know the baristas here so there was a lot of friendly chatting about coffee in the background. Not many tables but if you can snag one it's really nice to get some work done! Only complaint is that my matcha wasn't very well mixed so it was a bit gritty, but I'll definitely stop by to try a latte soon :)
Might be the best cup of coffee in the city. Boutique shop with very high quality beans available for purchase
What a great coffee spot! We stopped in on the way out of town after a brief visit to Pittsburgh, and we were thrilled to have picked this place for our caffeine fix! The espresso was easily the most flavorful and enjoyable espresso I have ever tasted. The staff was friendly, they conversed at good length with all of their regulars which is always a good sign, and they were very knowledgeable about their beans and drinks. They told us about this Columbian vandola, and that they use these exclusively with their Columbian beans. We will certainly have to try that pour next time, and if we’re ever in town this is where we will be for sure! Thanks again p.s. they will murder your thirst (in the best ways)
Best coffee shop in Pittsburgh! The owner/staff, Amy and Cliff, are incredibly nice folks making incredible delicious coffee. They not only serve consistently amazing drinks, they also sell whole bean bags from roasters you can't find elsewhere in the area. I've been coming here for years now, and they've patiently given me great advice on how to improve my home brewing. In the warmer months, they have a cute garden to sit out in. There aren't that many tables inside, since rearranging post-covid, but if you can snag one, the light is lovely to read/work. The handful of times I've brought my little one, they are so accommodating and understanding. Also, their bathroom has super fun wallpaper.
This coffee shop was once "Cat's & Dog's Coffee" and the interior is much the same. The windows are huge and the extra high ceiling has this beautiful Victorian etching pattern you can get lost in. The staff are really cool folk and the coffee & chai as ever were top notch! It was moderately busy on a Sunday afternoon but there was no line the barristas are quite efficient!
Great location. Okay coffee. Pretentious barista. It was like going back to the 90's for better and worse.
This place is LIT It's the best coffee in Pittsburgh It's so LIT Actually it's one of my top favorite coffee experiences in THE COUNTRY! Amy and Cliff do coffee better than most or all! ITS LIIT
Absolutely love this place! We got basic drinks like iced coffee and a cappuccino. It was really good. There is an amazing garden right next to coffee shop where you can sit! Also the inside was so cute and vintage! Highly recommend
Though they’re still full COVID mitigation inside the shop, great pastries and pour-over!
Fantastic coffee and such kind and helpful baristas. Definitely one of my favorite coffee spots in Pittsburgh!
Great coffee and kind quick service. With no extra cost for soy milk, and oat milk for only a little extra.
Weirdest coffee buying experience of my lifetime. To be forward, we were not wearing masks- we are from out of town (not by far), and no one wears them around us anymore. The sign also does not say they are required. It felt like we were in a hospital waiting room as we waited for our coffee. Multiple patrons were wearing masks and they were treated without a shadow of a doubt, entirely different than we were. It felt cold and stale inside. Let me be clear, my coffee was delicious. But I will not be returning, it was so off putting.
the vibes are absolutely immaculate. loved every second spent, every drop drank, and every crumb eaten.
Five stars. Made my first day in Pittsburgh awesome. Baristas were super professional and friendly. Drinks were super good. Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ☕️
Best coffee in Pittsburgh (fight me)! Cliff knows coffee and has a passion for it that comes across with each brew. I've only had a few conversations with him, but each time it's a lesson that makes my brews at home better.
I was there a month ago. I will never return. This extremely congenial individual doesn't like people to ask what kind of chocolate they use for a mocha latte. He told me to bounce after I asked. Maybe he didn't like the way I looked. Idk? But I'm guessing the owner took my post down that I will continue to put up! #FJB...AND THIS PLACE!
Terrible service! I ordered an espresso and when the barista served it to me he said "If you don't like it, you come to me." Espresso was great and the place is super cool but who says that? All my friends have also had bad experiences with this particular barista as well. Definitely a snobby coffee bro vibe here.
