Fun little coffee shop with modern industrial vibe, very open and airy.
It's always a bummer to walk into a coffee house and have the staff be kinda rude. Maybe it's this places business model? Maybe they want to be snooty based on my appearance? I'm not sure, I came in for a cup of coffee during my lunch break and while the coffee is good, the staff is cold and unwelcoming. I'm gonna go ahead and say they don't really like it when more blue collar folks come in because the baristas seemed pretty friendly to the white collar folks, etc who were in there on laptops. Disappointing because I live in the neighborhood and I was looking forward to supporting a local business. Starbucks is always friendly, I guess I'll go there because they treat everyone the same at least.
Disappointing. A large latte was only 16 oz. Even though I was told that it had three shots of espresso in it, it tasted very weak. And my hot latte was served barely warm. I won't be going back to Commonplace Coffee.
Nice spot for working while grabbing a coffee + small bites. limited food options.
Great cup of joe and appreciate the food selection. I was able to get a seat quickly near a wall outlet - always optimal. Big, open and airy. If you're meeting more than one person for a mid-day coffee, the space here will accommodate.
Great coffee, people, and space. Always enjoy my visits.
Definitely a different vibe from the old shop! Coffee still rocks though
Commonplace always has great vibes, and I’m happy there’s still one I can bike to with the Reynolds street one relocated here. Excellent coffee and the cookies are big and delicious! Lots of space to hang out and work or chat at this location too, so it’s a great place to meet people.
Nice and spacious place to hang around and have coffee. Coffee was cold though.
