Lovely cafe and decor. I got their new flavor of honey latte 🍯 and the sweetness was surprisingly subtle. Their was definitely a distinct flavor that might be attributed to the type of honey used. Coffee isn’t that strong! I’d recommend trying it out!
I had a horrible experience- The barista was very disrespectful and rude.... I was on an important work call and waiting for the person I was meeting with and the barista was SO Impolite and told me i need to go outside to take the call in the most disrespectful way ever- I would never go to this coffee shop ever again!
This might be my new favorite cafe in Pittsburgh! I will definitely be going back for the ube latte -- it was so delicious! Loved all the plants, and hopefully next time I won't be going to study! There aren't a ton of seats but it's not too far from Walnut street if you want to take a walk after you get your drink
Poor service - one of the baristas was rude, and it seems like people from other comments were also given an attitude by the staffs. Coffee is decent, but not planning to come back due to the poor service.
Coffee was fine. Nothing too special. I got the breakfast “sammy” and it was a tiny piece of bacon, egg and cheese on small slices of bread. Service was not good at all. The gentleman wearing the beanie who took our order was rude and had an attitude for some reason. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but really got our visit off on the wrong foot. And finally, no outlets?! How is that possible in 2023?
Cozy cafe that roasts their coffee on-site. Quality is great and the smell of fresh roasted beans - to die for!
Arriviste is a wonderful coffee shop. Hospitality is exceptional here. Staff members are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Espresso beverages are carefully made and consistent across baristas. Arriviste’s vibe is curated to foster comfort and connections. Inside, you’ll find people chatting, reading a book, and relaxing in comfy chairs in the “living room” area. I recommend having a seat and enjoying the cafe con miel. You won’t be disappointed!
heard this was the #2 coffee shop on ellsworth and i came to make it #1 <3
It is easy to pass by, but once you are inside it’s surprisingly cozy. Coffees are great but they truly have amazing chai and matcha latte that you will definitely notice the difference from other cafe’s. Chai latte’s flavor is very sophisticated ( I know it sounds ridiculous and obnoxious but it is true) and they will give you the matcha latte that tastes like triple dose of matcha you can literally feel your throat being coated in green.
I love this place! Great onsite roasting coffee ☕️& 🥐pastries‼️ Cleanliness is A1 & Consistently raises their already highest quality local coffee bar’. Alway great ART 🎨too... Most impressive coffee - Precision with heart, backed with owner operated friendly professional standards. ☕️‼️@ Very bike friendly. 🚴🏼🚴🏼🚴🏼
Exceptional professional friendly baristas roasting on location now! Top quality pastry to match the coffee. Outdoor seating! Support local. Creative forward rotating high quality art exhibitions.
Awesome coffee! My fav in Pittsburgh :-)
Great menu and friendly knowledgeable staff. Seating can be a bit limited but the decor and atmosphere is very comfortable
The hibiscus lemonade tastes like it was made from actual hibiscus and not some weird extract
I live in the neighborhood and the furniture this store places on the sidewalk makes this unusable as a pedestrian. Tables, signs, and food carts block the way. Edit: 1 week later and the blockages return. I'm all for local vendors and small business, but this is an egregious blockage. The line for the food cart piles up and causes people to walk into the light pole or into the street. Jaywalking is technically illegal and this is halfway between two cross walks.
Coffee is pretty average and they have some cool flavors but the owner seems a little unhinged. The other people who work there are nice but the owner is grumpy when he interacts with you. I looked at their Instagram and it’s totally toxic. They like posting bad reviews (even about past regular customers!) and it appears they don’t understand the idea of “customer service”. He seems to think that people owe him for allowing them the privilege of being his customers when, in reality, he should be more accommodating to the community that has kept his doors open. Maybe he’s in the wrong field or something. The other coffee shop up the road is very friendly and also has cool flavors. They also don’t degrade people!
My friend and I gave this place three tries and we won’t go back. Snobby vibe, no outlets, weird hours, indifferent customer service and received judgey look when I asked a question. The coffee is mediocre at best. Several better options within walking distance.
I love this spot! Definitely one of my favorite coffee shops in the city!
Best coffee shop in the area. In-house roasting, kind staff (that have been around for a long time), fun specialty drinks every season. There’s bike and street parking out front and always a friendly face inside :)
Horrible experience with one of the baristas, will not even post what she said to my friend and I. Will never go back. Used to be my favorite coffee shop.
