I had the best cup of coffee ever. Perfect temperature and all
Absolutely LOVE the Shadyside Adda! Best location by far:)) I've become a regular just because the staff here are extra friendly and always brighten my day (especially on Easter Sunday!!). Whatever they're getting paid it's not enough!! It's always super clean in there. The matcha is my favorite, although I miss the verve drip!! Anything they make is crafted perfectly! <3 Coffee artists.
Great place but if you get a cappuccino to go, strong chance they're gonna burn it and put zero effort into foaming the milk. Literally just scorched my taste buds and roof of my mouth. 🙄
I love this place! I didn't know what I wanted and was recommended a Shadyside Sunrise. It is now my favorite drink! Thank you Juliette and thank you ADDA Coffee and Tea!
One of the best coffee in Pittsburgh
Really good and fast. I had a latte and my wife had a Chai.
Second time coming here. Prices are out of this world expensive and the barista let lines form out the door because they're too busy flirting with customers. Almost missed the bus waiting in line for him to finish asking some girl out on a date. Ended up leaving with no coffee.
One of my favourite cafés in Pittsburgh. The staff is always friendly and they have indoor and outdoor sitting areas
They have started to sell the cutest little curated items here! I'm in love with everything. My latte is always good and the employees (especially the guy with glasses and the girl with pink hair) are super sweet and great baristas.
I've gotten coffee here three different times: an espresso, a drip, and an Americano. All three times the coffee tasted like battery acid.
I like their coffee and atmosphere. It’s not great to sit down and work though, as it’s usually crowded and there’s not much table space.
The place has a very nice vibe. It's very well lit inside with plenty of places to sit (with electrical outlets to charge your devices) if you want to get some studying/work done. The playlist they're playing is nothing short of amazing. The staff is very friendly. A somewhat limited selection of pastries and the chairs aren't the most comfortable. Would definitely recommend.
Cute whimsical coffee shop with outdoor seating so perfect for people watching!
Sundays wouldn't be the same without a stop at Adda :) Love the outdoor brunch offered during the warmer months and the pleasant interactions that can be found there year-round. Great selection of delicious lattes, and if you can't decide which to order the staff always have spot-on recommendations. Upon entering you'll find a collection of artisan items (often from local creators) ranging from jams to earrings, and with both gluten free and vegan options at the counter there truly is something for everyone.
Great coffee but unappealing attitude from the company. There are signs everywhere (STILL) yelling at customers to wear a mask and not even take a sip inside. They've got to be the last café in Pittsburgh to open indoor dining. Enough with the political activist signs everywhere too. I'm not going back unless things change. I hope they will. Edit: STILL no indoor dining as of December 2021. And masks are required.
I loved the coffee! I got a hot honey cinnamon latte and it was amazing! They don’t have indoor seating at the moment. Highly recommend 10/10
As much as I enjoy the coffee here, the environment is a bit hostile considering that you get jumped on every time you walk in the door without a mask. I do respect them when asked to put a mask on, but as soon as I pull it down to take a sip of my coffee, I am immediately reprimanded to quote on quote, "wear your mask over your nose". This is quite ironic considering the baristas are behind a layer of plexiglass, with two layered masks on and I am 6 feet or more away from other customers. My experience has been like this the past couple times of walking into this coffee shop, while mask mandates have been changed in Pennsylvania to having the option to wear a mask if you are vaccinated. I always said to myself I would never post a review but this last time while in there, I was not pleased. If you have more of a conservative standpoint and have opposing views then what they portray, I would suggest not visiting ADDA coffee shop.
I am always looking for new places to try a matcha latte!! This place so very authentic and cute! The matcha was pretty good and they have a cute little area to sit outside. 😊
Nice spot with a great cup of coffee. Happy to have come back here years later to the same great atmosphere!
New options for books, chocolate, even face masks! They're beautifully curated and not only is there great coffee but it's a perfect stop if you're searching for a gift. Coffee is great, especially if you're a fan of medium or darker roasts. Pittsburgh Juice Co. is sold inside. There are fresh baked pastries and sandwiches courtesy Madeleine Bakery & Bistro which are a must (Sometimes vegan options available as well)!
