Excellent food. Easy relaxed atmosphere
Sat at a table for 20 mins and was not acknowledged by a single person working there. We watched a table that sat down after us get served water and drinks. We still waited a few minutes to see if anyone would serve us and no one did. We were really looking forward to spending our night here and unfortunately our time there was sour.
The Time is an intimate jazz bar. Talented musicians, attentive staff, and delightful cocktails create an enchanting ambiance. A hidden gem for jazz lovers, this spellbinding venue leaves me mesmerized.
Rude customer service at bar and were only there for less than 3 minutes. My boyfriend and I took a seat at the bar on the right hand side when you first walk into building as the left side was full and no seats. Bartender didn’t acknowledge us, not a ”hello” or “how are you?” Just handed us drink menus and coasters and walked away without saying a word. To us that was very rude and off putting like we did not belong there or not worthy, we left right after that hapenned. I’ve been coming to this place for years and never encountered bad service/people up until that point. I doubt anyone will care but we will be taking our business elsewhere after that poor interaction and go somewhere else where people will talk to you and not be rude. I wish I could give zero stars.
The food and drinks were great. I enjoyed the jazz music. The vibe was also really nice. The service was timely. Having great friends made it feel awesome. I highly recommend this place, especially with the live music. It wasn't too loud so I could speak to my companions
Went down hill. Old Fashioned tasted like straight bitters and no bourbon.

Live music upon entry on sat nights and a club scene upstairs. Nice sized dance floor with a bar. Darnell makes great drinks. Gets very crowded on the weekends.
Had a great time here on a Thursday night. Met a friend - had beers and a tasty burger at the bar. Caught a dope performance by Soul Samurai. Service was on point. Left my credit card after paying and the bartender caught me a half block away to give it to me. Super thoughtful.
Great atmosphere, especially on warm nights when they have a jazz band playing and all the windows open! Good food, a more than decent beer list, and of course a massive list of Bourbon and Scotch to choose from (200+ I believe). One of my favorite spots to go with friends. Relax and enjoy a night out.
The up stairs DJ was so so The downstairs band was lovely!

Don't Bother with this place. There are plenty of other bars that wont treat you like a second thought in the area. Also, if you are looking for Jazz, 1 block away is Chris' Jazz Cafe. Go there instead!
Walked into Time to enjoy the live music and I asked the bartender in the whiskey bar section if I could order a drink, (very politely mind you), and he sarcastically quipped back in a very rude tone saying “like you don’t see me making 10 people’s drinks.” I walked away with my friends and will NOT be coming here anymore. Coming from the hospitality industry, I know things get busy, even on Monday nights, but please don’t lose common courtesy flip out on patrons. Unprofessional and unacceptable.

I've been to Time I'm the past for dinner and drinks, and the music never disappoints. This was my first time visiting post pandemic and I stopped in late in the night after dinner. Music was great and the place was packed! Bartenders were busy but quickly got us our drinks which tasted great.
Just had a wonderful dinner with drinks. Hankins was our server and she was excellent. Definitely go with the scallops. Cooked to perfection.
