Very very slow service. For people who have plenty of time and not in a rush.

To reanimate or to remain animated.... was my question this afternoon when I settled on visiting ReAnimator Coffee for my daily cup of Joe. This location is a five minute walk from my church. They had the "Keystone" blend on drip. I ordered a large cup, black. I'm not sure if it's the coffee or the comfy cozy atmosphere that lulled me into finding a table to enjoy the brew and the view... The blend is bittersweet, which I like, and it has an earthy taste and texture reminiscent of tea, which is one of the listed ingredients. All in all, 👍👍... #MorningJoe #ComfyCozy #Animated #SundayRoutine

Seems cute but for some reason they refuse to make hot lattes. I understand they don’t want to scald the milk (which they will lecture you about, btw) but the lattes I get are always just warm even after asking for extra hot. I’ve never had a problem at any other cafe (including NY and Seattle) and have never had the milk ruined by the temp. Sorry, not interested in your breastmilk lattes.

Coffee is delicious! Hard pass on the two pastries we had though, since they were a bit dry and flavorless.

Really. Good. Coffee. Comfortable and spacious if you want to chill for a bit with a well done pour over.

Best roaster in Philadelphia hands down. Turned into my coffee shop very quickly and is my favorite. Great place to do some work or get a quick bite. I can’t recommend ReAnimator enough! Also dog friendly!

Best coffee shop in Philly in my opinion. Large space with Wifi, communal feel, beautiful interior, all-star baristas, and great food.

Mainly pastries, not my preference. Great sips. Good study location. Not often too busy. Solid place to get stuff done or meet up. Not the place for Health conscious eaters (pastries=sugar) ****It's not MY ideal cafe. But maybe it's yours.*****

Came here to do a little studying and enjoy some coffee. Had a pourover that was delicious and later a drip coffee that was also great with a little half and half. Simple syrup and honey are offered, along with several dairy and milk alternative options. The bagel I had was also fantastic, made in-house and super chewy. All of their baked goods looked delicious, too. Reasonable prices on their coffees and baked goods. Excellent place to study, bright location with lots of seating.

Finally found a place to go to instead of la Colombe. This cafe is unique & offers wifi. They’ve perfected their regular drip. I haven’t had their pastries/ bagels yet but it smells heavenly.

Please get a toaster! Cold bagel + cold cream cheese…not a good pairing!

I enjoyed working from here for a few hours. Good atmosphere. I was disappointed by the coffee, though. My latte had a sour taste which was quite unpleasant. From what I've read, sour coffee is either a result of poor brewing technique or old beans. Please get this together. It's not ok to serve bad tasting coffee at $5+ per cup (or at all for that matter). Because I liked the space, I would definitely return, but only to try one of their baked goods or a non-coffee beverage.

Ordered a bagel sandwich and waited 20 minutes before asking where it was because I figured they may have been a little caught up in the back. (It was not busy) Then they tell me that they didn't have my order and then that they ran out of the type of sandwich that I ordered. It didn't seem like anyone really cared much and I felt like I was bothering them. It was disappointing. I usually enjoy their coffee but the service is definitely lacking and I will not be going back for a while.

Excellent light roast coffee and espresso drinks. The only reason I can’t justify giving them 5 stars is that they refuse to serve any form of granulated sugar, and insist on offering simple syrup. One of my, admittedly odd, pleasures is crunching raw or granulated sugar in an iced latte. I end up going to Front Street Café instead when I’m craving Reanimator Coffee because they also carry it but will give me raw sugar as well. Still, their single origin beans are amazing and worth trying as an espresso or pour over. They don’t need any sugar, either.

A coffee place that has no sugar, regular or raw, only syrup. Good look getting the right amount of sweet if you're having espresso or macchiato.

Legit one of the best Mochas I’ve ever had. Very nice vibe and Baristas! I’ll definitely be back. The breakfast bun was amazing, I love the chewy caramelized bottom
