Great coffee but I wish they were a little more polite while speaking. Not everyone understands the nuances of coffee but if they’re trying to ask a question, you can be nice.
Best chocolate croissant I’ve tasted in a while!
Best coffee in Philadelphia. I’ve never seen all the coffee equipment right in front of you and you can tell they use all of them to make the best coffee. You often see them roasting the beans right in front of you!!!
3 visits while in Philadelphia for a few days. Multiple home-baked breakfast options but every day I had the tasty and healthy Omega-3 muffin - blueberries, chia seeds and other good bits. As a tea drinker I appreciate the small, well-chosen options. It's truly a nook, run by the married couple owners. They know all their regulars by name and preferred beverage. Bring your own mug if you want to save paper.
Awesome blueberry crumble. It’s not sweet. It was just perfect w cappuccino 😌
Delicious coffee. Pasties looked delicious (didn't get any this time) The woman I spoke with was so sweet and cheery. Lovely place :)
Highly recommend! The name is fitting, it’s really a special place tucked off on the side. Walking in, you immediately become aware that they take coffee very seriously. From the smell, to the coffee roasters, to the perfectly pairing bakery treats- you gotta check this place out. Way better than the Starbucks next door- forget that place.
Expert advice with a wide variety of coffees. I needed a mild brazil to pull espresso for my italian friend and they were the only place I could find with a simple mild brazil. Thanks so much!
Small Cafe, with good drinks. me and my fiance both had a matcha latte. My fiance's was bitter but that was more the fault of us than the baristas. great stuff! wish there were more seating options but they're limited by the space
What a wonderful coffee and bakery shop. I had the honor of taking a one on one class with Michael, the co-owner, last night. The guy is amazing. Talk about someone that knows a lot about roasting coffee beans, and, it turns out, science in general. Yes, he does know stuff. He brought out the long buried nerd in me. We roasted one of the beans with 3 different roasts…very bold, kind of bold and medium bold. After 1 double shot of each, I can say without reservations, they were really good and I was wired.
The best coffee I've had in the city. Huge variety of beans, unpretentious, and great prices. Plus the owners are super friendly and the pastries are great!
Everything here is amazing, they have a good tea menu too if you ask the owner! She's there every day and sells the day-old baked goods at a discount too.
Cozy, homey coffee shop with an excellent latte and great looking pastry ( can't afford the calories). Well in the meantime I've indulged anyway - as good as they look!
Their breakfast sandwich is simple, but delicious. Great cold brew.
best cafe iced chai of my life and i’ve had many 😝
Great coffee. They roast it themselves! Fantastic pastries...that they also make themselves!
Of all the great coffee places in Philadelphia, I think this is my favorite. Absolutely delicious coffee, nice people, and consistency
Great cappuccino and cookies, perfect for Fika time!
Such sweet staff and good coffee and pastries! Their dirty chai is so so good. It’s a little cluttered from shipments that are viable in the back, but still a quaint little shop.
Coffee was good, but the egg sandwich had burned/grey eggs
