Came highly recommended and boy, did it disappoint. The coffee is pedestrian, the cookie was embarrassing and the baristas didn't seem as interested in crafting drinks as much as just pushing them out the door as fast as possible.
The strawberry oat latte is the best coffee I’ve ever had
Amazing atmosphere. They do their pour overs in a Chemex which makes for a great flavor with their fruity coffees. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Philly!
Good espresso, strong wifi, ample seating. Only complaints is music is a bit loud/distracting, and bathroom a bit unclean.
Love this place. Amazing beans and the fact that they give you a free cup if you pick up the bag is really nice.

It was a really good coffee I ordered a flat white. The atmosphere was cool but the music was so load I recommend a quiet music to enjoy the good coffee 🤝🏻

The Germans call American drip coffee ‘dirty sock water’ and my cup of Las Brumas would confirm this description. Was very disappointed after all of the hype. Perhaps there was a mistake in weighing the coffee; but, whatever the reason, it was an expensive cup of anemic coffee.
The cappuccino, the vibe and the staff are pretty good! It doesn’t offer a lot of space to sit and whatever space is there is almost always full.
Traveling to Philly and Elixr is the only shop thus far that compares favorably (and maybe surpasses) the coffee love I’m used to in Santa Cruz. Truly excellent coffee.
Visiting from out of town and looked for the best coffee near me. Vibe is awesome and coffee was delicious. I tried the Irish Potato flavor and it did not disappoint.
Elixr has very cute locations throughout the city and their drinks are considerably more flavorful and well-crafted than what you can find at any of the national chains that are in the area. I personally really enjoy their Chai Latte, which has a lot of spice to it and an excellent balance of milk so that the drink is never overwhelming. Just pleasantly spicy and creamy.
Probably the best coffee I’ve ever had, vanilla latte always on point. Never a bad experience here

On previous visits, I've liked Elixr, but on my most recent visit, I felt like it was lacking. The service could have been a lot friendlier, and it seemed like the place needed a good cleaning. Hoping to return for a better experience soon.
I visited this coffee shop at 6.20 pm and I wanted to order coffee in a mug, as I always do. However, the barista said that they do not serve drinks in mugs during the last hour. So the coffee shop rather pollute the environment with the non-recyclable to-go-cups than use mugs for people who want to use mugs. I do not agree with this “cafe policy”: not to use mugs during the last hour. So I definitely will skip this coffee shop during their last working hour. IMHO, it was staff laziness, not the “coffee shop policy”. However, matcha-latte is still topnotch in the Elixr.
Wonderful espresso, and great handcrafted drinks! Highly suggest the strawberry oat milk latte and match! Also, the croissants are fresh and very good! Staff was friendly and quick!
