Food: unbelievable. Service: a little on the slow side. Vibes: good!! I tried their Brett sandwich, and it was delicious!! The smoked salmon combined beautifully with the pickles, aioli, and cheese on the multigrain:) There was a lot of seating, and the interior was modern and cozy. All in all, I would come here on a slower morning or to meet up with friends as I had to wait 10-15 minutes for my toasted sandwich.

Excellent breakfast options for the price. I wonder how they’re making money on the food. They use La Colombe beans, so expect very nutty & chocolaty espresso.

Favorite coffee shop in Philly. Great coffee every time and the atmosphere is very relaxing. They used to be on S10th which is why pictures all look different in the reviews. I really liked their old location because it had so much character but they did a great job customizing the new location to make it cool and cozy.

Walnut location. Dropped by for a capp and breakfast brioche. Both were excellent. Both guys behind the counter were kind and easygoing. Had nice convo while I waited.

Excellent coffee, great place to work/study, absolutely terrible pastry. It was quite a contrast between the quality of the coffee and the croissant.

Soft opening - but still a five star experience! Lovely, airy space with artistic touches, chill music, friendly service, and - most important - delicious coffee. Cortados are my thing, but they have a full coffee menu. Glad they’re in 1213 Walnut now. Stop in!

Wow! This breakfast sandwich is not basic at all - seasoning is perfect and the aïoli is delicious. The pretzel bun is soft and has a great ratio with the eggs and bacon. Super great quality because usually you get a basic sandwich and the price is expensive downtown but this makes sense. Pistachio pastry was Yummo!!!!! Can’t wait to come back to try more menu items 🙌🏽 great study/work spot too. Strong coffee and dope music vibes.

Lame. Generic coffee and didn’t even have charcuterie when I went in. Why would I ever go here?

Just a great place. The walkway is a little narrow, but space isn't cheap. Asked for recommendations on their pastries and they didn't disappoint! Super friendly staff!

coffee is so good but hands down the toast!! never had an avo toast, or any toast like this. the bread is like a toast/crostini?? cheese, cured meat, avo - it all works together so we’ll 💛💛

Great spot for doing a little work or meeting with a friend to chat over some coffee (and bagels/donuts/toast/waffles/cured meats, etc.) in a nice, tucked away spot. Good, friendly service... And definitely chill out on the back patio on a nice day - totally worth it!

I'm so glad Bower is part of the neighborhood. Let me get the info you need here first -- the coffee and espresso drinks are wonderful, made quickly, and delicious. I had a small drip coffee ($2.25), perfect medium dark roast, plenty hot. We also got an iced latte for just over $3.00 (add $1 for alternatives to cow's milk), and it was excellent. The yogurt bowl was rich and had a generous amount of yogurt, a good amount of fresh fruit (berries), and granola with honey drizzle. Very satisfying. Now, I want to say the duo behind the counter seemed to know everyone who walked in. They were so sweet, kind, uplifting and cared about each customer. It was really busy when we went, and they got some of the orders mixed up, but took care of everything quickly and offered me a free refill. Just two splendid people taking care of all their customers while bringing joy to the community. I want to go back daily and be their friends.
