Gable House made a gorgeous cake for our son's 17th birthday! The cake was also moist and the icing was creamy but not so sickening sweet. We were very happy with Gable House!
Didn't have as big of selection when I was in as I thought they would have. Maybe I was there at a low inventory time. What I did get was great though.
Nothing gets better then a gable house chocolate chip cookie or cake donuts! If your ever close by, stop in for some goodies and friendly neighborly chats!❤️
I stopped in to buy myself a birthday cake from the display case recently. It was honestly the best cake I've ever had. The shop is well laid out and the staff were friendly. The photos I added aren't the most flattering cake photos, but I was excited to dig in.

I just stopped by here a few minutes ago. Very wonderful people. And my donut and croissant danish was delicious. Haven't ate my sticky bun yet but I'm sure I will love it. Will return here again fresh and lovely place I recommend checking this wonderful bakery out.
I reached out to numerous times trying to order a wedding cake and other desserts for our wedding, since I had heard so many amazing things. I called, placed an online request, and emailed and was never able to speak with anyone or place my order so I finally went with another baker. Wedding planning is already a lot to handle, and vendors like this one who are not responsive make it 10x harder. I would absolutely not recommend! I would however recommend LeDecorant in Williamsport!
Gable House Bakery was phenomenal to work with. We didn't want the traditional white wedding cake, we just allowed Nikki to have creative freedom with our cake and boy, did she deliver! She HAND PAINTED our cake. We did a combination of mini cupcakes and tart bites for our wedding which made for easy take-home desserts. There was nothing left by the end of the night! There was a variety of flavors which made it difficult to choose but we definitely recommend the burnt sugar buttercream! We cannot wait to eat our cake on our one year anniversary and will definitely visit Gable House when we come back to town.

This is a really cute local bakery. Come enjoy a cup of coffee and a scone with a friend or by yourself while you meditate on life! They're baked goods are a little bit expensive but you do get a lot of food proportion. They're in dining area is small but very nice. They seem to keep it very clean.
Gable House Bakery created the most delicious desserts for our wedding! Nikki and her team were super professional and so easy to work with! We had carrot cake with cream cheese icing as well as chocolate chip & snickerdoodle cookies. Our guests were raving about how good they all tasted! Thanks for helping to make our wedding day an absolute dream! 🥰

Lots of amazing baked goods
I can't rave enough about Gable House! The baked goods, breads, and cakes from this business are the best! I have not had desserts that are better elsewhere. The staff is so incredibly friendly and cares SO MUCH about their customers. I was already a fan of Gable House when we booked them for our wedding. We asked for a themed cake, and they delivered the most perfect and beautiful cake - so much better than I could have imagined. The next day when we actually tasted the cake confirmed that it was even better than it looked. You can't get better for your special occasion!

This place has macaroons that are delicious and have the perfect texture. My husband likes the eclairs. If you're somewhat local make sure to sign-in for loyalty points. They make the most beautiful wedding cakes and desserts. Tell them what you want or give them more of a free rein. Every event we've attended with their desserts have always been a huge hit. We love the gingerbread kits at holiday times. It always comes with more decorations than I expect.
Great first experience with Gable House Bakery! We would typically always get our birthday cakes from Country Cupboard Bakery but unfortunately they had recently closed. I was scrambling to find another place for my son’s first birthday and had heard good things. I had reached out and within a few hours got a prompt response. They had our cupcakes ready right on time to pick up. They looked incredible and were delicious! I will say the buttercream is more smooth/buttery and a little less sweet than we were used to, but I’m sure this is a more authentic bakery buttercream and less commercialized - still delicious nonetheless. Awesome flavor combinations to choose from, as well. The birthday boy had no complaints - downed it in no time. We’ll be repeat customers! Thank you!😊
Very good food but part of the order was wrong even after explicitly covering it at the tasting. We wanted black icing made with chocolate buttercream and decided upon this after working directly with the owner to achieve the proper ingredient combination. We had a tasting with 3 icing options and the owner even wrote down exactly which one we wanted so they had a record of it when the time to make the actual cake came. Picked up the cake and the icing was made with white buttercream instead which is not what we stated we wanted and not what the bakery agreed to make. It tasted good and kept well, but the fact that the order was slightly wrong after so much work went into getting it right is a negative. Overall, I would still recommend the bakery to anyone but would advise being extra careful with making sure it is correctly made.
