Always good to come to one of these but they're not as friendly as the one on Lincoln hway or the one by Giant. Or maybe it's just any normal person on sunday morning . The server gave me the check before I finished eating. This is never a good move. They can always say " whenever you're ready for the check let me know" or at least take a look at how much coffee and food I got left.
On a Fri. morning, my daughter wanted to eat here because she had a gift card. My experience a few years ago at one of their other shops wasn't good, but I said I'd join her. We were greeted promptly and were seated. I ordered coffee, which was ordinary, but I realize that can be a subjective matter. Daughter ordered the three star breakfast- two eggs, two pancakes, and a breakfast meat. She ordered her eggs to be scrambled. I ordered the Lancaster breakfast- two eggs, toast, and I added the bacon. I ordered over easy. We waited 20-25 min for our food. I don't usually mind waiting for food, so it didn't really bother me. However, when it finally came out, Daughter noticed that her eggs were over easy, not scrambled. She called the waitress over to ask that she receive the scrambled eggs that she had ordered. Keep in mind that we don't act like entitled customers. If we have a problem, we are courteous. The waitress took the plate with the eggs and pancakes, and then soon brought the same plate back with just the pancakes. Said plate had a green fingerprint on it- as if the chef or someone in the back had avocado on their hands and used that hand to handle the plate (see picture). After another 10 min. or so, the waitress brought a plate of "scrambled eggs", which looked like the chef had taken the over easy eggs that were wrongly served, put them directly on the griddle, and shuffled them with a spatula (see second pic). They were two sections of eggs- one section was yellow and one was white. Daughter didn't eat either since they were crispy and dry. When we received our check, Daughter gently told the waitress about the eggs, to which the waitress replied that she personally had thrown the original over easy eggs out. I like to think that people are usually honest, but it was clear that she wasn't. We did leave a decent tip, but we will never go back again. I doubt that the health inspectors would have approved either.
Great food and service
Great smoothie and the 222 sandwich was amazing. Great service too. Thank you
The Coffee Company is a very nice little coffee shop. There are soups, a variety of sandwiches and beverages and friendly service.
Waiter was Diana (Probably spelled name wrong), she was very kind throughout my meal. For a drink, I got a mango iced tea, which is unsweetened and quite bland in flavor. When I added lemonade however (topped off) the drink improved 80% ! Overall, a 40 min endeavor, My first meal was a breakfast sandwich with a croissant bun, bacon, and American cheese. The American cheese was delectably gooey, which was a pleasant surprise. The sandwich was quite greasy, however the taste was quite fine, especially when I added the assorted greens served on the side into my meal. For desert (Desert with breakfast :) ) I had a pecan sticky bun, which was purely delicious, both chewy and crunchy on the outside, the presentation was very well done! 9.5/10, left bloated and happy for the serving size. (~$17)
Great breakfast meeting location. I met a friend for breakfast and we both enjoyed the "Cilantro Lime Egg Sandwich" which was excellent. Keep up the good work!
Stopped in for a short visit while my daughter was working. Enjoyed a coconut muffin and dirty chai. Both were yummy. Service was a little ehh.
Very nice coffee shop. Great service, great menu selection.
From the time we walked in until we left, everyone was so nice and very patient with my 95 year old friend. The food was delicious!!!!!
Ot was delicious and the service was great!
Looking for the best coffee, food and service? Coffee & Co. has it all 💥
Omg, yummy! Stopped at every Coffee Co we found when we were in PA. I just wish they would sell their mugs...
Their to-go coffee cups break apart and spill everywhere
Great service as always!
Latte was substandard, and the service was disappointing. We had a party of 7, and we bought expensive drinks, but bc we didn't have food, we were asked to leave and make room for others to come in and order food. Our drinks cost more than if we had ordered food, but we couldn't occupy a table at a COFFEE SHOP, with the COFFEES we JUST purchased, a few minutes before, because we didn't have food. Coffee shop apparently means diner, in this case. We could have gotten coffe much cheaper and been allowed to sit and enjoy it, elsewhere. Basically, if you would like to "meet for coffee" or sit and work with an expensive coffee drink, this is not your stop. You must grab and go or purchase a muffin instead of a coffee. I will just find a different shop in the future. Too bad, bc it was a cute spot. We just couldn't stay to enjoy it. 😔
My family and I come often to the lititz location, each time experiencing great food + wonderful service (Annie + Becca!)
Great cafe! Great drinks and food.
Love this place! The good and coffee are both delicious!
So they list their closing time as 3pm, but if you come after 2:15, service declines quickly and I ordered a salad at 2:30 and had to wait for the server to make sure that they could still make it. They could, but without the chicken. This was for a to-go order. I wasn't even trying to sit and eat. If you're not going to be open till 3, change your closing time.
