We have been here many times and love the tea and crumpets. Unfortunately, our most recent visit was very disappointing. I brought my family from AZ to experience this adorable place. We did not feel welcome. We ordered tea and waited quite awhile to receive a menu. There was no one else in the place and after waiting, we were finally informed that there were only 4 crumpets and we would have to share with 8 people. Had we known upon arrival, we would not have stayed. We felt rushed and somewhat ignored with no apologies.

~Cute tea shop with really good crumpets and large selection on loose leaf teas. The atmosphere was amazing and cozy. The staff are very helpful and friendly too. Will definitely be coming back whenever we can. ~The prices are very reasonable and I found tea blends I haven't seen yet. There is a large amount of tea of all types to choose from along with teaware, bags, soaps, jewlery, and some snacks. ~For our crumpets we got the chocolate ricotta with pecans and caramel along with the rosemary goat cheese with dates and honey drizzle. The chocolate one was just the right amount of chocolatey but not overly sweet. The rosemary one was well balanced and also not too sweet. We got a pot of the raspberry patch herbal tea which was a really good flavor ride with each cup the longer it was steeping.

I love this tea shop. Virginia the owner is phenomenal. She goes out of her way to make sure her customers are satisfied. Great location for showers or just to go with a friend. My favorite is the Lady Grey blend she has.

The very best crumpets and wonderful teas (a ginormous variety, actually). Love stopping by every time we're in Ligonier.

There aren't many places in the area to get amazing loose leaf tea, and even fewer that are this amazing. There are so so many options. Black. Green, chai, herbal... all of your hearts desires. Persephone's blend is one of my all time favorite!!! Best of all, you're supporting a local business!!!

If I said everything I wanted to say, this review would be very long so I'll keep it short. If your in the area, (or not) and want to relax, forget about a bad day, slow down for a moment, want to enjoy some excellent tea and some excellent "crumpets" that pair with tea well, then Crumpets is the perfect place. They also off coffee. The French press coffee is excellent! Beautiful Ligonier is the perfect location for this place as well. Located in the scenic Laurel Highlands. If you've been to the town, then you know why. If not, you must visit and while you are visiting other shops and just enjoying the atmosphere of this beautiful town, stop at Crumpets for a great experience!

Great experience again this year. This is our second trip in consecutive years to Ligonier and Crumpets. My wife is the tea drinker and she loves all the selections and bought several teas to take home. We also had a few crumpets which were delicious. I had a French press coffee which hit the spot! Would highly recommend Crumpets Tea Shop.

Very helpful, friendly service. I couldn’t come in, and they worked with me on the phone to have some tea shipped to a friend an another state. Got there faster than it would have with Amazon even!

We were in PA for a wedding and stumbled across Crumpets. My daughter and I love tea rooms and find one every place we travel to. The crumpets were spectacular. The almond ricotta and orange marmalade crumpet was delicious. Buffalo chicken was also amazing. The teas were fantastic and the variety was vast. Clearly by my photo, I had a difficult narrowing down my favorites. Would highly recommend this tea room and we would definitely visit again!

The store also offers tea cups, kettles, spoons, and other things to go with your tea. Overall a great place to visit if you like tea and are visiting or living in the great town of Ligonier.

Oh what a gem in Laurel hills. A warm owner who makes an effort to cater to all needs. Amazing selection of teas (I had peach, kentucky bourbon and Nepalese black). The crumpets are simply amazing, the turkey mustard and hummus are to die for
