Mean Cup is one of the staple coffee shops of Lancaster. If you love coffee, you've been here. If you work remotely, you've been here. If you're going on a date, go here! They have quality roasts and fun specials to branch out. Plenty of little shops nearby to get some food and settle in. MC also has a spot in Lancaster Central Market !
Have been coming here for years. The coffee is amazing and so is the environment. Haven't had an issue with the staff until today. Went to walk in at 7:01 and the staff said that they weren't open and we needed to come back later with an attitude. When I went back I ordered my coffee and sat down and went back up to get the wifi password. The same staff member stared at me blankly and said that the wifi password is free with purchase. I pointed at my table. The tone of voice and attitude was unnecessary.

Friendlie, Fun, Tastie & Cheap. Bring a mug and a standard coffee, tea, or ice tea is a dollar. (i don't know if this is still true, but they are filling mugs with non fancie drinks again. 5/2023) Have a croissant... Warm obviouslie. (no longer available. 5/2023) I also have a small addiction to the granola bars. (still bangin'! 5/2023) There's a bike rack, outdoor seating, a wifi password that will make you smile. Also I hear that kiddos love the little play area. (can now verify. kiddos love that tinie coffee set. 5/2023)
My favorite coffee shop in Lancaster. They always have pleasant staff, delicious lattes and baked goods. The vegan blueberry pecan bars are amazing.
They have decaf on tap in market and it's my favorite cup downtown.
Ordered a dark roast... tasted so weak
It can be a little crowded and loud in the mornings but the folks, food and atmosphere is fantastic. The drinks are made to your taste and are absolute perfection in a cup. Parking is ample as is the table space and chairs.
Our second time going here and it was great again! Friendly staff and delicious drinks.
Wonderful Chai latte, and the blueberry muffins are to die for. Space is small, easily crowded. The bathrooms are clean.
Tiny. Not a lot of space between seats. Not the typical boring coffee shop but more like the punk millenial's coffee shop and I'm here for it. Coffee was top tier 👌 Love the illustrations telling what is what!!!!

I was traveling through the area and hoping to find a good coffee. But this unfortunately was not it. Very nice atmosphere but that was all. It actually took over 20 minutes for them to make a single cup, of below average, coffee.
Lots of people here on a Sunday afternoon. Great place for a mean cup of joe. Just needed some gift cards happy to stand in line supporting small local business.
I will tell you this. GO HERE FOR THE BEST COFFEE EVER! Not only is it so nice inside but the employee's are super friendly. Me and my daughter loved the hot chocolate espresso! This is now our go to spot!
My husband and I both got lattes, one brown sugar and cinnamon, and the other was bourbon and brown sugar or maple (can’t remember) . They were both so good we kept passing them back and forth, sharing the wonderful flavors. They do not skimp on the syrups. We definitely will be going back.
