I live in Pittsburgh but this is a must stop cafe when I visit Johnstown. The staff, drinks, atmosphere, and food are amazing. The team there are so creative with their themes and drinks! Kayla is always so helpful with making suggestions and literally makes my day brighter!
Let me start by saying, I'm the pickiest person when it comes to espresso. I was in visiting from out if state and ended up at this quaint and welcoming place in the morning for my usual fix. It was beyond amazing. The smooth velvety latte made my tastebuds come alive. I HIGHLY recommend to anyone who appreciates great espresso to try this place. You will not be sorry.
Perfect place to relax and get away for a little me time. Great staff, local owners and fabulous menu
This is my favorite coffee shop. The cozy atmosphere and welcoming staff are wonderful. I love the theme drinks and even weeks they do (Harry Potter ❤️) They have local small businesses come in and offer their items as well. It's just a great little place to be. ☕
If you're looking for a charming and cozy cafe, Mill House and Co. should be at the top of your list. This little cafe is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or a delicious breakfast burrito. As soon as you step inside, you're greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff who make you feel right at home. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with rustic decor and comfortable seating areas that are perfect for settling in with a good book or catching up with friends. It puts one to mind of a small European coffee house. Delightful! Now, let's talk about the food. Mill House and Co. offers a Tex-mex dish that is absolutely delicious. Their breakfast burritos are a particular standout, with fluffy scrambled eggs and crispy bacon or sausage all wrapped up in a warm tortilla. And of course, their coffee is top-notch, with rich and flavorful brews that are sure to give you the caffeine kick you need to start your day. They offer both regular coffee (divine) and a variety of specialty drinks (mochas, lattes, etc). Overall, Mill House and Co. is a gem of a cafe that's well worth a visit. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. If you're in the area, be sure to stop in and experience it for yourself!
This place is adorable! Nice asthetic inside, good food and good drinks! The service was also really good!
Great place for coffee and sandwiches. Friendly staff. And they have vegetarian and vegan items. I’m a visitor to Johnstown and stopped there first time today. Loved the Tex Mex Vegan grilled roll up (it’s jalapeño pepper hot, so watch it), and the blueberry scone.
The Mill House is absolutely an amazing shop. It's very cozy, inviting and staff beyond friendly. I've gotten several teas, coffees and a few bites to eat at the Mill House and have never disappointed. The establishment is conveniently located and very clean. Above all, it's locally owned. The next time your looking for a tasty beverage, give the Mill House a shot, you won't be sorry.
Great seasonal drinks
Excellent little local coffee shop with great workers!
Delicious coffee, expertly made. I got the Campfire Mocha, a special (in September), it was delicious, not too sweet, not too bitter. Kind people and great service. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.
I always like coming here. The coffee house has a very upbeat and positive vibe. Sonny and her team are always fantastic! There is always Great food and great chai tea. Their waffle avocado sandwich is very tasty, and I highly recommend it! When I came here last, there was a rather large number of happy young well behaved kids. This added to the environment and made it fun! There was a little wait, but they were up for the challenge and got me taken care of quickly. Thank you for another great experience!
Very cute and cozy little café! I got their special pumpkin hot latte and it was delicious!
Great coffee and smiles 😁👍
Love this place! I stopped by while in town for work. I need a spot with wifi to work from for the afternoon and the folx here were super sweet and chill. The grilled cheese was perfect and so was the tea!
The coffee is very good! I also love their chia porridge but be careful if you’re going for tea. By far the worst London Fog I have ever had - twice! Which happens to be an absolute favorite of mine so I was incredibly disappointed.
This is a great little place! Not super busy, but everyone (even customers) are super friendly. The coffee and food is delicious, definitely worth a stop!
Really sad. I used to love this place. As a local vegan, Artist, and nutritionist, this place has become incredibly disappointing. Vegan options are crossed off the menu, they no longer sell artists’ work (I asked), and a woman whom I’m guessing is an owner told me I couldn’t have sugar free options because they are “not good for me” (Syrup and caffeine are? Very unprofessional). I’m always disappointed and feel unwelcome now. Please go back to the old Millhouse :(
Good coffee and friendly staff. I'll definitely be back here whenever I'm in the area.
The atmosphere of Mill House is beyond compare. Though the outside may seem a bit small this only adds to the excellent ambiance of the establishment. Their drinks are consistently made with love and care and the staff has, in my experience, always been kind. If you're looking for a morning fix, a late afternoon pick me up, and everything in between then Mill House is the place for you.
