Cute and affordable coffee shop, with drink specials that are well worth sampling! This week it's "Beach 6" iced coffee, with coconut and salted caramel. Their pastries are also scrumptious - we recommend the biscotti and the macaroons. The bookstore side is more pricey, but gorgeous. Many lovely books as well as book merchandise like literary puzzles, soaps, and other gift items. Their children's section is made adorable with a cozy tree hideaway.
Coffee/tea service good. Bookstore full of Left Wing propaganda. Very blatant bias.
An awesome independent book store with a fantastic attached coffee shop!.
Nice people, good coffee. Place to sit and enjoy your day. Moved away a few years ago and I've missed the place.
Pressed is a hidden gem in the Gem City! I work up the street and was recently introduced to Pressed via friend buying a coffee for me. I was intrigued, and stopped in for myself the next day. First impPRESSions <--see what I did there?... cozy, friendly, upscale (but not pretentious), lots of students. I was a bit surprised by how busy it was when I first walked in, but nonetheless, the service was fast, friendly, and efficient. Most of the people inside during my first visit appeared to be students, which I suppose should come as no surprise considering it's also a book store! My simple order was done in less than a minute, and I was in & out in under 5 minutes. However, had I had more time, it would have been a great place to chill and read for a little bit. Long story short- I've been back quite a bit since, and I'll probably be there tomorrow... Give Pressed a try!!
One of my favorite coffee shops and definitely my favorite bookstore in the area. Baristas are super nice, atmosphere is relaxed and calm. Definitely a good place to go
Coffee and books are two of my favorite things, and Pressed has a good selection of both. Comfy atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff.
Very nice bookstore. The wait for coffee was just too long. ~25 minutes? They should warn customers of a wait that long, or alternatively, hire additional baristas for busy times. Just visiting, would return for books, but will get coffee somewhere else.
This is a very nice smaller bookstore. They have a wonderful children's area with seating. Brought my greatniece (4 yrs old) to pick out a couple books & she was enthralled. Even though they didn't have her first choice author, it didn't take her long to select a couple books. Staff person was very helpful. The coffee section which is separate from, but accessible to the book store, appeared to be doing a good business.
Not imPRESSED. It was only my first time there my boyfriend and I ordered 2 frozen hazelnut lattes. She called our order we picked it up and were offered what was left in the blender which was really appreciated. When we got to our car and drove away I began to sip and the coffee was gone in 2 seconds with nothing but foam in our cups. For $16 we had expected much more than what we were served. It wasn't frozen it was about an inch of liquid coffee and the rest was foam and so disappointing. Better luck next time maybe? I don't know.
It was an experience, truly around this time, coffee lovers paradise!!! Hot chocolate is my love language at the moment, especially around the colder months
This is an aesthetic study spot for college students or a cool hang out place for a Saturday afternoon. The cafe has unique teas and drinks that make coming back an exciting future plan. The book shop also has a ton of cute book accessories, candles, merchandise, and knick-knacks. I don't recommend buying books from them unless you have money to burn. With that said, it's still a solid vibe for book lovers, study fiends, and kids (they have a magical kids book section)!
Their drinks were okay it tasted like milk than coffee for my first experience but I love their book store it's so cute and I love looking at books!
Pressed is a very reliable place to get some work done. It’s usually moderately busy with people doing work or just chatting. I really enjoy the mixture of energy. I ordered an americano and also a green tea. Both were decent. The coffee shop is extremely accessible with a lot of outlets everywhere, and open until 6- which is rare in Erie. It’s connected to a book store which I find charming. All in all I think this a very reliable spot.
The staff here is very nice. Everything is clean and nice. The coffee is very good, and there are specials that change often.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Wonderful kids section. My daughter settled right down into the tree trunk reading nook and read a few books. Enjoyed coffee and hot cocoa.
Store is super cute, so many unique finds, employees super kind and the coffee was really amazing 👏 despite the popularity of the chain coffee shop we all know of, it doesn't compare at all to the depths of flavour I was so happy to find here!!! I just talked myself into having to go there again asap today lol 🙃 p.s. (they had homemade vanilla infused 🍯 honey ) like 😋 yum
The shop is the best of both worlds: coffee shop and a bookstore! The drinks are always so delicious and unique. The bookstore is so inviting and there is a great selection. The staff is so nice and helpful!
Coffee and Tea are always available and their specialty drinks are amazing. They have a wonderful selection of books, as well as local authors!
The coffee was good and not overly sweet. The staff was friendly. The wait to get it was a bit long.
