Coffee was great!! Really great. The bfast bagel sandwich tasted like nothing. It was odd. I wasn't a fan. They also didn't complete our order. I didn't check before we left the store. It happens. I get it.
Food is alright and prices are good. Service is slow though
What changed? Hardly anyone there, got my wife's order wrong, and didn't have cream cheese today so several items were off the menu. I don't think we'll be back, unfortunately. Lovely atmosphere, and an excellent Grizzly Adams sandwich!
Cute little shop. It was a Saturday night from 6-8 and we had the whole place mostly to ourselves.
The frappe's were bland with little to no flavor i asked for. The lady that took my order was rude, had an attitude. I felt like an inconvenience to her. It was my first time going here and probably my last. Every question I asked she had a rude remark or attitude with. There wasn't a drink menu for me to look at. I was tempted to leave mid way through my order.
The homemade cinnamon flavor in an iced latte is pure Heaven.
I have been here several times. The specialty sandwiches and salads are good. The chai tea was not my favorite but the coffee and London Fog were excellent
Really neat place and good food.
Chai latte was a 5/10, very bland. Wouldn't recommend but it's a lovely shop so I assume their other drinks are good
I wish I could give you a fat ZERO. Poor service, food ok and staff shortage. A shame.
Cute place. Coffees we ordered were tasty. Cappuccino with oat milk and an extra shot of espresso. An Americano with oat milk and an extra shot. Could find the menu and only one bathroom. Big beautiful bathroom, but I could envision a line forming.
Pleasant counter service. I did not have food, but certainly will next time. Great location. Atmosphere is great. Quiet, yet seems like a good place to gather.
I really like their food, very light and easy to eat even on a hot day, I will say it would be nice if they changed up suppliers for their beanos because they coffee taste burnt like yo grannys cookies she forgot in the oven 2 hours ago🤣 its honestly not thatttt bad but I've been disappointed by a cup from here many a time. I will say I appreciate the barista that made me a red-eye even though it wasnt on the menu. Some imported fair trade could go a long way to make you guys more well known, if that does happen in some off chance make sure you advertise that you're testing different beans so people will know lol
New to town. This is in walking distance to where I live. I loved how open the floor is and the service was great. Also looks like a great study/ reading spot.
It was a really nice atmosphere. We went in the evening and there were many people there eating and working, but it didn't feel crowded. It is very spacious inside. I had their seasonal Sakura drink, it was very good! I also made my own sandwich, which was tasty. I would recommend it! They had alternative milk, such as oat.

Folklore has gone so downhill since they’ve reopened. First off, the design and atmosphere was way better before. Now it looks odd? Such a beautiful building and they don’t really do anything to create any sort of atmosphere. I’ve been 4 times since they’ve reopened, I kept giving them chances, and I’m let down every time. The hot coffee is never hot, sometimes they forget my cream or milk. Went yesterday and they gave me a completely burnt blueberry muffin, with all the blueberries sunken to the bottom (aka not a good bake job). I can’t believe they even sold it to me. So embarrassing. I tossed it without even trying. Wish they would do better, since it’s one of the only cafe with long hours.
Just as good as ever! Drinks and food are made with love and care. Can’t go wrong with the Chai 🙃 Love stopping here.
I waited 27 minutes for a breakfast panini while there was 0 people in line. There was at least 3 people working behind the counter. It’s a Wednesday at noon with no line and it takes this long. Not a good option if you are trying to get something quick on a lunch break.
Great food but order took 3x as long today and then was missing half the order. When I called to see if the door dash delivery person had left the store with the whole order they laughed that they forgot to put it in the bag and to contact door dash for refund. The attitude of whoever I just spoke to was horrible. If someone is paying for delivery… it’s obviously for the convenience of NOT having to drive to the restaurant to pick up missing item. (Plus, if I order again it will take another hour) or I order again and pay for ANOTHER delivery. Not really something to laugh about. Like it’s not a big deal. If someone pays 6$ in delivery fee, 2$ in service fee, $4.50 in dasher tip…. I’m paying a lot of money so I don’t have to lug kids around to the location. Next time, please just apologize… sincerely. It’s not a big deal to YOU. This is one of the things I look forward to, my afternoon lunches with my husband. And we found an awesome local lunch place… :) I’ve been ordering this same order every couple of days lol always fantastic. The food here is great. I’m sorry but I just think the owner should know.
