We had a decent experience here. I got a cookie table coffee and my husband got a mocha latte, they were alright. We also had Orams blueberry cheesecake donuts that were pretty good. The location is really cute.

Meh. Don’t let the photos fool you. I ordered an oat milk cap, and I’ve had better foam from Mc Donald’s. She spent all of 20 seconds marking the entire drink. Clearly zero attention to detail. I also ordered a breakfast sandwich which looked promising, an English muffin from a local bakers. Great! Well it was not. :). At best it was assembled from pre-made ingredients, likely assembled days ago, and microwaved. If I wanted a microwaved sandwich I’ll stop at sheetz. It was as expected gummy/chewy and not delicious. Microwaves ruin food and only belong at 7-11s and gas stations. I shan’t be coming back.

Excellent coffee and breakfast sandwiches. We landed from San Francisco on a red eye and came straight here. Great local spot.

I love this coffee shop. Businesses like these are exactly what Coraopolis needs! The shop is really nice and spacious. They have a lot of drink options as well as pastries. I was lucky enough to get an Oram’s cinnamon roll when I was there. I got an iced coffee with a bit of brown sugar syrup in it and it was amazing. It’s a perfect place to visit on the weekends or come to work during the weekdays. I wish I lived closer!

Decent coffee, terrible service. The barista was incredibly rude and kicked us out 1 minute before the set closing time.

We absolutely love Anchor & Anvil and typically order an Americano and an iced Cookie Table. Once in a while, we get breakfast sandwiches or pre-order Oram's donuts. They're always efficient and friendly. 10/10 would recommend!

I would have really liked to share these experiences privately and via email but you do not have one posted on your website and I'm not going to call the store to talk to people who very apparently do not care about the experience of the customers. Every one out of two times I visit your location, I get burned by your coffee. Your cups and lids are not safe and do not close properly. You have a huge legal issue on your hands, especially when there is no warning of hot liquids on your cups, just to save you from getting sued. I myself am a burn victim, from working at a coffee shop and having pretty enormous burns and injuries so I know what I am talking about when it comes to safety and experience. I am begging you to care about the safety of your customers and invest in better cups and lids. Also, you would think coming back in and telling the barista I need a new cup because coffee was pouring all over my hands, would signal to them to ask if I'm okay? Do I need a new coffee? Anything, but instead "What size?" Again, I didn't want to call anyone out publicly but you don't have a great process to handle customer inquiries, but the red headed barista truly when I see her working I immediately know she is going to be miserable. It's totally unacceptable for her to treat a customer like that after their coffee poured over them. I have really been trying to like this place, I love the thought of having a nice local coffee shop to go to, but this is the last I can take and I will not be returning to somewhere that so apparently does not care about customers.

The best coffee cafe in Coraopolis. Also the only one. But still, it’s a great place for coffee and pastry. Breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito is also great.

Mediocre coffee. Substandard breakfast sandwich that was prepared incorrectly. Sullen service, even though I gave a 20% tip. Maybe that's because it was at the end of the shift, 11 AM on a Monday morning. Noisy when there more than 2 customers. Won't be coming back.

This was the Coraopolis coffee shop. Coffee was good, but the barista never acknowledged our presence till she completed the order she was diligently working on, which was probably at least 5 minutes. There was only one other person in the cafe and they were sitting drinking their coffee. She just needed to make eye contact or acknowledged we'd come in. "I'll be with you in a moment. I need to fill this order" would have been fine. Customers are forgiving when you've noticed our presence, especially in an almost empty room.

Such a great little place! Their coffee and lattes are fabulous and they’re so kind (even with my substitutions). I’d absolutely recommend this place. It’s sooo much better than a corporate alternative. SO much better!
