Awesome coffee spot! Best around!
I decided to try this new cafe in my home town this morning 5/23 as I’m in town visiting family & was super excited as I live in Florida now for my retirement . I hear great things about this place , the drinks are delicious as are the food from my experience this morning. The only issue I have was the woman working the drive thru was very unpleasant and unprofessional this morning. She took my debit card without saying hello and was more worried about finishing her conversation with the other staff than she was me, including cursing & laughing up a storm. The whole transaction was extremely cold, and not welcoming. As I was reading other reviews it seems to be an issue with staff being unpleasant. The food and beverages were delicious, staff - not so much.
I’ve been coming here for coffee for a quite a while. The staff aren’t really that pleasant to deal with but I come at 7:15 so it doesn’t bother me. This morning 4/29 I pulled up at 7:20 not knowing they open at 8:00 and a guy unlocked the door and ignorantly said “ come on we don’t open until 8:00” and closed the door quick and locked it. I well never be back. I’m all about supporting local small business but the coffee shop a few blocks down will have it again.

Just what Carbondale needed
Awesome staff! Had some custom order donuts made and they came out PERFECT. The team that I sent them to loved them as well, super creative people!
Coffee is great! Service is excellent! The paper cups suck! Paper cups always suck for coffee, they leak all over you.

Burning Bush Cafe offers such a cozy, peaceful environment while serving quality products. As a barista, I could immediately tell that they take pride in their hand crafted beverages. I immediately requested for an application! Hopefully I can become a part of their incredible team. For now, I’ll be a loyal customer!

Burning Bush Cafe catered our Annual Breakfast meeting for us. Enough wraps and donuts for 75 people and it was awesome! Wraps and donuts were fresh and delicious and everything was ready on time. Could not have asked for anything more. Would highly recommend.
My wife and I have been coming here occasionally for several months and thoroughly enjoy their food, coffee, and service. I never mind the wait for our orders at times as some of their food is made to order. Never a bad experience and happy to have a local shop not too far away.
Very nice little cafe in Carbondale, and was a quick fiveinute walk from our hotel! My Earl Grey Teas was good and the wife enjoyed her coffee. We got donuts based off the pictures we saw online. They only had six types of donuts to choose from which was a little disappointing but they were pretty tasty which made up for the lack of options! Place was nice and accessible so my wife had no issues getting her wheelchair in. Overall very happy we gave this place a try!
Great coffee
I was just here recently. The atmosphere was awesome! The coffee amazing! I am very picky about coffee. I highly recommend this place. Prices very reasonable as well.
Really cool little coffee shop. I like my brew black, and I would say it was relatively mild. Very smooth quite drinkable. Decided to get a snack too, got a plain doughnut. Nice and crispy outside soft warm and not too sweet, great compliment! Staff was friendly, but not really conversational. Country music vibe, nice art. Will be back, especially if they have an event.
I had a burning bush macchiato and a sausage egg and cheese wrap… Both were absolutely delicious. The problem is that staff are not very pleasant and they open the garage door on nice days where people sit and smoke and the café is filled with smoke. It’s disgusting… I don’t want to sit and eat breakfast while having to cough due to their habit. Even while I leave this review, a smoker literally walked into the café to continue smoking. This is Pennsylvania… It’s not allowed.
