We found this place on our adventurous trip with my family from 🇸🇰 Slovakia to research old relatives in the area. Being aware of big Czech and Slovak presence in the area, it was still a nice surprise as "Czechoslovak" cuisine is quite rare in US. It is not traditional kolace but more of a Texas take on them - as we learned reading a bit about the bakery. The fact that it is a take on our traditional kolac made it more interesting for us, and we bought and tried as much as we could :) Even in busy morning hours, the staff was very friendly and patient as we wanted to try a little bit of everything, plus take some with us on the road. 5 star rating is well deserved! 👌 We also encourage you to check the real deal from the Czech Republic and Slovakia if you get the chance, as every region has their own takes on fillings and styles.

Honeslt, everything I've tried form here is amazing! If I could give them more stars, I would! Pastries are great! Sweet ones are amazing. The cinimon buns are huge, and they have these lovely cheese ones, which are the best! They have this wonderfully little sausage and cheese thing it's the best thing I've eaten all month! Someone brought them into my work, so I'm not sure exactly what it's called, but omg, so yummy!

I am hooked on the cinnamon rolls but then after I get there I have to get a raspberry kolache which are delicious! Then if it’s closer to lunch they have the ham & Swiss, Buffalo chicken or pepperoni kolaches and you can’t go wrong with any of them. Oh they also have this bruschetta bread that is amazing too! Just go try them it’s totally worth it!!

Very friendly staff. Solid Kolaches, I got the bacon egg & cheese and sausage jalapeño & cheese, but the cappuccino was a little disappointing. I’ll be back and probably just get drip coffee next time.

That dough.... is mana from heaven. The savory items (eggs, bacon, cheese, etc..) are a hearty fill up. But the sweet items (apple, cream cheese, berry, etc.) complement the slight sweetness of the dough to perfection. Honestly, just get one of both and thank me later.

The Kolache's and cinnamon rolls are incredible. Every month I have to go into the office for a week to work and the ladies always ask me to stop to bring them goodies. I am also a huge fan of their vanilla almond biscotti. I dont often get the savory kolache's but they look amazing. This is a great hometown shop that I am proud to live near

Man.......that Jalapeño popper Kolache they had on Thursday 2/9/23 was straight fire! Wish I bought them all. Bacon&cheese and a sweet one is usually my go-to but glad I got a popper one today

Quaint place w better quality than Starbucks. The food is awesome as well as the deserts. The staff was kind and friendly. Surprised there where not many folks in the place. As I mentioned, better than Starbucks, specifically the coffee (expresso), not bitter). Highly recommend the place for family and friends. Good vibes.

Ahh what I wouldn't do for a nice breakfast every day with a calm atmosphere, warmed sandwich, and delicious coffee! I wish I could come here every day. It is always a lovely time especially on a day off and the sun shining in the window.

This is a GEM. Such a warm, cozy little place. The kolaches are made fresh and are the best I have ever had. I wish wish wish this restaurant had a location in Maryland; I would be there every weekend. They often have a line out the door, but it moves quickly and honey it is WORTH the wait. Everything is delicious, you can't go wrong. The staff is friendly & kind; I was just visiting PA, but here I felt like one of their neighbors. The other pastries, cookies, and coffees are perfection- every choice is a winner, you can't go wrong. I know I'm definitely coming back next time I visit PA!

Everything is delicious. I love that they use Monin syrup for their drinks. Biggest con is everything is disposable. Whether dining in or taking out, it’s plastic silverware, paper/ plastic cups, and cardboard plates. I wish there was an effort to be more eco-friendly.

I’m from out of state and this is the best kolache place I have even been! Definitely would come back again if ever in town again.
