Usually the service is fast and food is delicious. This time the wait time for food was extremely long, about 45 minutes. We waited a long time for the waitress to come back to the table for a coffee refill the waitress came to the table a total of 4 times and didnt ask if we needed anything. They were skimpy of the half and half creamers. 4 coffees 5 creamers. They do not carry sour cream. The toast had no butter and nothing was flavorful.
Very old but very clean place. Mostly have breakfast. It's very good. Staff is very nice.

Great service yet we wanted lunch and had to get breakfast because they weren't ready for lunch. Had a Big breakfast Rush that Sunday
Took almost an hour to get breakfast and when we asked why we were told everything is held up because we ordered breakfast. Not one order came out of the kitchen in an hour. I was also ignored when paying the bill. I was at the register with my card in hand and one of the "regulars" walked up and the waitress helped him before me. Used to love this place now I tell everyone to stay away.
it is EXACTLY what it is. really good diner food, very good friendly service. talked to local folks at adjacent tables who were anxious to help us navigate.
The waitress is very nice and quick, even when busy! We had breakfast which was delicious and it's nice that they serve it till 1:45, for those late lazy mornings.
9/2022 our server was Stacy and she was awesome! We stayed at a nearby place called The moonshadow inn and we were looking for a quick cup of coffee. I stopped in and saw that this place had a full restaurant and breakfast! We dove in and had a delicious breakfast French toast sausage bacon eggs the works. The coffee was delicious too. We will be back for in the area! Thank you so much for all the great service!

I've been up here for 20 years. Never stopped here. Well I know now what a great place it is. Hamburgers are delicious. Prices are sooo reasonable. When I see the local people eating in a restaurant, you know it is good food and great prices. Thank you.
Great place to get some food. Nice Cafe with great food.
I have shopped around Honesdale and Beach Lake and even Narrowsburg for the best bacon and egg sandwich, and by far the country café is on the top of the leaderboard their services friendly and genuine, their consistency to duplicate the sandwich and price is number one.
