Best iced caramel latte in the area and I’ve tried them ALL. Cozy, industrial feel with fast wifi, making it a great place to get some work done or meet a friend. Baristas are always super helpful if you aren’t sure what you want!

Some people say paying for good coffee is a waste. I say they’re WRONG. Every coffee I’ve had from The Clay Cup has surpassed my expectations. Highly recommend the iced coconut caramel mocha!

This place actually knows how to do loose leaf tea properly. They steep it at the right temperature for the right time, and remove the leaves before handing it to you. Good quality tea as well. 100% A+ rare gem.

Came here with da gang. Made a cup I'm going to use to store my lean in. For legal reasons, that's a joke.

My sister and I had the best time painting pottery at the Clay Cup!! The owner is just the sweetest ray of sunshine and gave me the confidence to just go for it. They have all colors of glazes, some with speckles and top coats, too. She clear coats everything. The price includes all glazes, firing, brushes, etc. Just pay tax. The pieces you can choose from are varied from small ornaments or magnets to cups, bowls, pitchers, jars, Christmas trees, and more. The price points ranged from $10 to $100, but most are in the $40 and under range. It takes about 2 weeks to get your items back. Thursdays have a discount! Great fun! Call to reserve your table. Walk ins are possible but to ensure you have a spot, it's best to reserve. P.S. there is a coffee shop in the front, but we didn't stop for that this time.

I have been to The Clay Cup several times over the past two years, I live in pittsburgh but grew up in the area, so it's a must stop for me when I'm heading home! I am always impressed with the courteous staff and the quality of the coffee! I am a vegan, so I LOVE that they not only have dairy alternative milks, but they also supply gluten free, dairy free and vegan pastries! I was just there yesterday with my mom and nephews, I had a delicious latte, my mom had a mocha, my nephews had hot cocoa and some cupcakes from their daily selection. Everything was fresh and delicious. We ended up chatting with the barista a bit because she said she was going to visit Pittsburgh soon, so we had a nice conversation about the city. Then when my family got to our car we realized our car battery was dead! This lovely barista went out of her way to give our car a jump! Like where do you find these angel staff members?!? If I could give 100 stars for this business I would!

This is the first time I have been here and the coffee is so delicious. I will be coming back. They also had delicious snacks in the case but I came for coffee. Can't wait to try that next time.

We were looking forward to a cup of hot chocolate. It was mediocre at best. Apparently the pump on the chocolate bottle wasn’t pumping. The asst. mgr. didn’t get a new pump or a new bottle of chocolate. He gave us the amount he could barely squeeze out. The drink was lukewarm and tasted like 1/2 spoon of Nestle’s was used. Service was ok. People are observant and notice things.

I love The Clay Cup! I moved to the Altoona area about 9 months ago and was having trouble finding a place to call "my spot". Little did I know that The Clay Cup was a hidden gem in the heart of downtown Altoona! If you love coffee, tea and even amazing meals and pastries, The Clay Cup is the place for you! Erin is such a joyful spirit and heart! My first time coming here she talked to me and truly was interested in my life! I felt so welcomed and at home. The environment is warm and welcoming. With a very artsy aesthetic, and great playlists playing year round. The Clay cup is open to families, study groups, organizations and ultimately the community! I did not try any of their beverages but for $10.75 I expected more for an artisan sandwich and soup then water down broccoli cauliflower and a sandwich with almost nothing in it that was so flat I thought somehow they just wrapped up one piece of bread. With money so tight don't waste yours here. I would post photos but for some reason their option isn't here

This is an easy review for me because i love what they have going on here. I rarely dine in but let me just say the coffee/espresso/cold brew is always top notch. They can pull a fantastic espresso shot with ease. I have tried other things on the menu but I keep it to those three. Ethan is the man!!

Nice small food place, and would be a nice café like place to get some morning coffee and breakfast. The prices were pretty cheap relative to other cafè. The colour scheme of the place was a nice light brown, that was comforting and relaxing. Would recommend this place, especially on a rainy day
