Food was small portions for the price. Pies where dynamite. Staff was really slow and forgot silverware. Long wait for food.
We stopped on our trip down the coast. Had soup and sandwich. It was delicious!! Service was wonderful!! But the pie!!!❤️❤️

Third time here. First with some friends from Colorado and two times with the wife. I had the chicken fried steak with mash potatoes, gravy and clam clowder. The wife a BLT and chips. She didn't care for the chips. Otherwise, everything was excellent.
Wow. I'm not from around here, so I opened a delivery service app and chose Don's. I ordered quick as the ordering window was closing, so I got the hot turkey sandwich. It was everything I could've wanted and more. Mashed potatoes, roasted turkey gravy *and* cranberry sauce?? All in an open faced sandwich arrangement....the only problem I found is that I didn't have the foresight to order two! 😅 But, next time I'm out this way, I'm definitely ordering this again. I'd have posted a proper picture, but that's all there is left.
The pie!!! Sour cream lemon .....to die for! Nice and friendly staff. Good food.
We went here on our way back from the discovery center. Everyone has raved about it, so figured we should try it. The food is diner food and the service was not great. It took forever to be waited on and then our waitress never checked on us after bringing our food and brought fry sauce instead of ketchup for my son.
I love to go to this place with my daughter. I had Salisbury steak and my daughter had mac & cheese with french fries. This place never disappoints.
It was very loud and the waitress did not offer a drink refill. Food was OK except for the coleslaw.

The Fish and Chips were delicious, very crisp fries and three huge portions of flakey moist cod - excellent attentive service! The pies in the display case were so luscious - but those calories were not on my plate today.
Friends were in town and we decided to go to lunch here. I live this place and was hoping my friends would as well. They did! Thanks for the amazing food and service.
Dons always has good food. I've been coming here for decades. The finger steak basket is especially good. Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly.

The food here is amazing! We ate here multiple times while in town and will be back when we visit again in the future. Their menu is vast and definitely offers something for everyone! One of our favorites was the Pie Lovers Combo. Their pie is perfection! Thank you for an amazing experience!

Stopped in for breakfast. There's only one server but we were greeted right away. She's really awesome and the food was good as well. I highly recommend this place. Our receipt says our server is Jax...a wonderful lady and works fast.❤️
Great place...my gluten free Cod sandwich was delicious. Moist, large piece of Cod with a dobble of flavorful sauce. Loved that they had gluten free! Homade chips are a for sure to order.
