Been at this location twice. Granted, not a great sample size. Both times ordering the Brisket slices. First time was amazing. Raved about it to friends. Second time ordering the same thing and it was a complete disappointment. Fat on the slices was not rendered...at all. Fat was chewy. Seems like the "Pitmaster" needs to be more hands on.
Little BBQ spot on the side of the road. Legit BBQ. First mac and cheese bites that I've actually enjoyed. Smoke and tenderness on the ribs were very good. Pulled pork was solid.
The BBQ is really good and the service is pretty quick. Be careful how much you order. The servings are pretty large.
I just ate here for the first time and dam the food is AMAZING!!!
Hands down best Brisket I've ever had in PNW. (2nd to my good friends mom in Texas who's know for her brisket) If I ever head down south again through Oregon I will definitely stop by here and get brisket plate and brisket to go. I am still kicking myself for not going back and getting more brisket to go. Oh and the deep fried Mac and cheese was really good too.. but that brisket. So soft it almost melts in your mouth, amazing flavor, juicy, damn now I wanna go back down there from just writing this review. Thank you Smoken BBQ for letting me know I don't have to go back to Texas to get some amazing brisket. Just to Oregon.
The blonde working the front window was extremely rude, the pulled pork was not cooked well (tasted bland), the brisket I wouldn't feed to my dogs because I'd be afraid it would break their teeth, the pickels where good but I'm pretty sure I saw them pulled out of a bag and tossed in the fryer, and after all that they still managed to forget 1/4 of the order. Would not recommend this place to someone I hated
Did not expect that!
Walked up to window, no one there. Girl at the door said, I will be with you in ten minutes?? What takes ten minutes to at least take a order? Laziness. Period
No flavor rude service no smoke ring on the brisket dry pork watered down bbq sauce not worth the price
I had the sampler and quickly realized the brisket is the best of the meats here. It’s very juicy and flavorful, not so much for the pulled pork and ribs (somewhat dry). If I came back I would get the brisket sandwich and some onion rings. Too bad they don’t have horseradish.
Coleslaw comes on the sandwich. I asked them to put it on the side instead, but that’s apparently a $3 upcharge, so i didnt get slaw. Also, they wouldn’t grab the extra pickle i bought so that I could eat it while i waited for my food. Plus the water i paid for was warm and the wait was long, standing outside in the heat. The brisket was dry and needed the slaw tbh. I was really hungry and unimpressed with where my $17 went. Overall not too bad but would not recommend.
7 bucks for 2 heaping sliders. Yes please! Was a great post ride snack.
I'm a southerner that makes my own BBQ, and yes I mean real BBQ smoked meats, so I'm picky but can say this place is great! When he opened up the smoker and I saw the meats they looked so good!! I got the sampler and so I got to try pulled pork, brisket and ribs. The brisket was VERY good! I never order brisket because most places don't know how to make it but this guy does! If I'm back in the area I'll come back!
My husband and I were passing thru after camping and spotted this place. Hubs got the GOAT and I had the Rooster sandwich spicy with fried mac n cheese bites. Every thing was made fresh to order. Delicious and filling! We loved it. Definitely check out this place for bbq.
OMG. This place was 🔥!!! Try everything, seriously, you won't be disappointed. Especially love the pickles. We will be back!
This place was a little shake in a parking lot. Seen it a few times traveling by and made a poi t to try it on out latest trip. Was by far the BEST bbq I have ever had from a shop. The brisket was definitely the highlight of my meal. The pulled pork came out a tad dry but mixing it with either BBQ sauce made it almost as good as the brisket. The mild BBQ sauce was extremely good. The spicy sauce had a hidden kick and was still extremely flavorful. The ribs literally melted off thr bone into my mouth. Last, the fried pickles were the perfect texture and flavor to complement the brisket. If you drive by this place, it is a must try. I will definitely be going here again every time I drive by that way again.
I came to get a sandwich. They were out of everything except briskets. I decided to try their coleslaw. It's labeled 8oz for $3. We got a tiny container which had 8oz printed on the bottom, but it wasn't anything close to 8oz. This is a worthless place to stop if you want something good to eat. The coleslaw was nothing but cut up lettuce core, and raw vegetables. There wasn't any flavoring or juice to it. Please save your money, and avoid this place.
Amazing food, Amazing service. We live in California but get there whenever we can!
These guys make some killer bbq! 10/10 amazing
I am taking the time to let you know this place. The brisket is rubbery. The food was cold after waiting an hour for it. When I went to the owner about some chips that were covered in mold. He dismissed me. No offer for a refund. No apology nothing. Warning. Don’t waste your money here.
