Refused to rent us a barrel pump. We were not able to go rafting because of them.
we had a group of 6 and did a 3ish hour run, it was a blast. I have done whitewater rafting mostly on the east coast - but the water, scenes, guide and over all company was great! - highly recommend if you are in the area! (Only thing i messed up on was not bringing my camera as it was awesome on the water and missed alot of great pics!

This is the second year in a row we chose DRA for our family rafting trip. the prices are better than most, the guides are first rate, and the office help is so accommodating and pleasant. Top notch service. Can't say enough about the enthusiasm and knowledge of the guides. They get you excited from the first moment you meet them. Their interesting and stories, true or not, kept us entertained during the quiet moments of rafting and their professional instructions and guidance kept us safe and happy! We had Simon last year and Carson this year. Both so wonderful!!! The amount and size of rapids were perfect for our group, thrilling and scary! The lunch was great! Included a great hamburger with all the trimmings, potato salad, a great noodle salad, watermelon, cookies and drinks. Tasted better than other lunches I've had on trips like this; freshly made and delicious. Would recommend this trip to anyone. Our youngest member was 9 and had a fabulous time!!!
We had a fantastic time with Maddie C. as our guide. Super friendly, and fun. Gave very clear instructions with a lot of fun facts about the river, landscape, and history of the area. Lot of great jokes too. Definitely didnt have a "dry" sense of humor. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Will definitely be returning next year. Thanks for a very memorable day!
This was our first rafting trip with the whole family, it's going to be our new yearly tradition. Lots of fun, and we were lucky enough to have Dawson as our awesome guide.
Connor was our guide and the other staff were calling him the terminator out on the water... This is a great crew with the best equipment and friendly guides!

We had an amazing time out there! Our guide Keith is a great guy with the one of the best attitudes, and he knows his stuff. It should be illegal to have that much fun! God bless him and the folks at D.R.A!
It was my first time and it was a great day and experience! Our guide was great! I recommend!
First time for a few of our group and the experience exceeded our expectations. Keith was our guide and went above and beyond to provide us with an experience to remember. His knowledge of the area and his skill set as a guide helped us feel super safe as we brought 3 kids with us. He is great with kids, answered a million questions along the way. DRA is also super organized and efficient. The lunch spot and food was awesome. The guides communicated with the other groups along the way. They took us to some awesome swim spots too. We had a blast, thank you DRA!
We did a 3 day, 2 night wild and scenic guided trip. It was exciting and memorable for everyone (ages 9 to 72). Maddie and Simon did an amazing job of tailoring the trip to our interests - found great spots to swim, cliff/rock jump, and float the rapids on sleeping pads. So much fun. Food was delicious. Well organized. Highly recommend Deschutes River Adventures.
We did the half day trip and had a blast. One of the best rafting trips we've had. I do wish we can keep paddling instead of floating, and go through the easy part quickly and get to the exciting part faster. LOL. The guides were very experienced and knowledgable. The rapids were fun and exciting, especially when we went through the class III and IV ones.
Best time ever! Safe, fun, exciting! We are going to make it an annual trip.
Such an amazing and fun time! The guide we had (simon) was very fun and had a good sense of humor, they were all very helpful and fun and the adventure was very worth it!
All of the guides were very friendly and helpful, but our personal guide Keith was spot on!! He made the already great journey even better! Thanks Keith!

My first time ever rafting. Absolutely outstanding. Our guide Keith was amazing. The entire experience was great. From check to answering all our questions. Very informative. Food was delicious. Thank you everyone at Deshutes River Adventure. We definitely will be coming back!!!!!!
We did the white water rafting! All day! And nobody fell out of the boat! There were 2 dad-friends and their young sons in our boat, along with my 11y/o daughter, my 74y/o mother, and me. This was my family’s first white water experience. So we had the most senior veteran guide, who took the safest routes. Dawson was confident and made us feel safe, he explained what to expect about upcoming rapids, cracked a bunch of silly jokes and shared history tidbits. We ran through a bunch of rapids, even a class 4! We got so wet and laughed so much. Stopped a few times to swim, or jump off rocks, ate bbq chzburgers for lunch. It was so beautiful to spend the day on the Deschutes. The sky was so bright against the high desert it was almost iridescent. Haven't seen that much sun in a long time 💖 It was an awesome adventure, so glad my mom was up for it. And kiddo said it was the best way to start off summer. Two thumbs up, will raft again!
