Wow, this place is worth the trip to the coast. We stayed at Salishan, which is about a 3 minute drive. The fish tastes really fresh as well as the fruit and veggies in the meal. The cocktail list was also great, a lot of variety. The staff was really helpful and kind and the restaurant had a really great vibe. Next time I'm in Depoe Bay, I would love to try other things on the menu.
This restaurant is a true treasure! Best peanut butter pie I've ever eaten at a restaurant. All the food was wonderful. It's hard to recommend one dish over another. But that's okay - your server will help make selections to suit your tastes. The decor is very eclectic, yet it feels comfortably homey.

dinner was absolutely delicious...my only complaint was the young lady at the front reception area. Total attitude and should not be in the industry....everything else was a 10!
Excellent food. Friendly staff. Ample parking. Can be very busy. I highly reccomend you make reservations.
We loved our meal here! James was our waiter and he was wonderful. We had the lamb special, the prawns & crab cakes. Honestly, chefs kiss. 10/10 would recommend to anyone stopping by and wanting a nice date night dinner. We came for my fiancés birthday. Only minus was that they didn’t write his name in chalk like all the other birthday guests 😉
WOW! The sommelier at Salishan Lodge recommended this restaurant to us and we had an outstanding experience! Loved the atmosphere, the fun vibe and friendly servers. Everything is rich and satisfying. We will be coming back every time we are in Gleneden! Thank you Josh for your knowledge and good sense of humor while waiting on us!
Beautiful restaurant with a very good menu full of unique dishes. Drinks were excellent. Price was a little high but worth it if you want a nice dinner.
The fish stew is extraordinary. Food is consistently good & so is service.

We didn't realize a reservation is requested, but we were able to be seated at the bar. Our bar tender was very friendly and we had great conversation with her the whole time. The drinks were ok. Not the best I've had but also not the worst. Dinner was delicious but the Creme Brulee for dessert was disappointing. Too thick and over cooked.
In my opinion the best dining experience on the Oregon coast. Why can I only give 5 stars because it’s a 10 star !
“Never a bad meal at Side Door” When I moved here, everyone told me this. It’s true. The interior is classy upscale, but wear a baseball cap if you want, no one cares. Great cocktail menu and pay attention to the specials. The Halibut is always a great choice, but when the lamb chops are on the specials menu, I can’t pass them up. Reservations are a good idea, but a half dozen bar spots and another half dozen bar rail spots absorb the overflow nicely if you are winging it through town. Great service. My go to for a date night with my wife.
Everything was...ok. The food was all heav and over cooked. Pasta was low quality. Ambiance and service were great. Bread was under cooked and poorly made, seemed store bought. Packet butter was weird in this type of restaurant. Key lime pie was...almost all whipped cream. Disappointing really.
The food here was excellent especially the tomato artichoke bisque. Our waitress had a great sense of humor and the service was great. A little hard to find but well worth the journey.
I can't say I have ever had such a wonderful meal thanks to a wedding gift from 2 amazing people. From drink to dessert the entire experience was nothing short of magical. You won't leave hungry and make sure to get a reservation!
Best place to eat in Lincoln City area. We have been going since they opened and we have never had a bad meal. It is our go-to place for anniversaries and birthdays. Everything comes out prepared exactly as it should be. I recently had the New York steak covered in crab. It was cooked perfectly and served hot with great sides, exactly as it should be. And it was just as great as it sounds. Soups are a specialty here; do not miss them. All their deserts are the best you have ever had. Don't let the out-of-the-way location fool you. This place is world class.
Really cool setting. Friendly atmosphere inside and out. They wrote the names of those celebrating a special occasion on the sidewalk, which was a nice touch.
