Small, but amazingly well-stocked grocery store. And they make good espresso drinks, too.

It’s what you’re looking for! Clean, cozy, warm and close the Crater Lake. It’s like staying at your grandmothers house. No WiFi , No Cable but a great selection of classic DVD’s. The gas fireplace adds to the warmth and charm. The organic grocery offers a nice selection. The owners are on site and friendly. This is not a 5 star hotel! But for what it is, it gets 5 stars!

Stayed here in the summer of 2022. Owners were extremely friendly. Rooms spacious. Rates fair. The way the rooms are set up (with a car-port in between them) ensured that no noise traveled from room-to-room from other guests. This is extremely rare for most motels on the road. There was a surprisingly large selection of high quality food (including organic options), drinks (both alcoholic and not), and snacks right on site. This was great, as there isn't much else in the immediate area. And, as internet and cell service is limited or non-existent, a vast selection of DVDs available for free, with an DVD player in each room. Beautiful scenery in the area. Overall a great stay for those looking to disconnect.

Fair pricing for a nice camp on the Wood River, with a bathroom! There was a beautiful church on the property next to us too.

Jo's is a great motel close to Crater Lake and other local sites. The two owners are friendly and knowledgeable. They also operate a small store onsite where you can grab food. And, they provide ground coffee (they grind it themselves) for your room. Very clean, private, quiet. only about 14 miles away from Crater Lake gate - easy drive. They have free DVDs to use while you're there. Also, a beautiful river is out back along with camping and RV sites. I'll definitely stay again next time I visit the area.

My 3 year old daughter was not allowed in the store from the get go. The grumpy owner/attendant was not friendly and should not be in the hospitality business. Don't support this place.

Cute little place but it's organic so finding something to drink other than water was tough. Better for people staying there than ones padding thru.

Super cute little place. We stopped for an espresso before getting to Crater Lake National Park. Ring the bell and she will come let you in to the little convenience store. We had fun chatting, heard some local history and had a great Americano. Can't speak to the sleeping accommodations, but we enjoyed our brief stop. Highly recommend.

We really liked the motel - located very close to south entrance of Crater Lake National Park, very reasonable price (comparing to other places in the area), clean and spacious rooms, covered private parking, strong heater plus fireplace, AC, Microwave and Fridge. The staff, Robin, was friendly and helpful. The bed was a little hard, but it's fine to us. No Wifi and internet, it's not a problem to us. Yes, they do have some very restrict "requirements" for their guests: one or two people 18 years or older (no groups), no pets, no kids, etc. If you meet those "requirements", it could be a great place to stay for visiting Crater Lake National Park and surrounding areas. -- June 2022.

This is the perfect place to rest on a trip to Crater Lake NP. The rooms are quiet and private and had everything we needed. The employee (owner?) we talked to was extremely friendly and helpful. The grocery was charming and we were able to stock up and cook a meal. We loved this place and will definitely stay again if we come back to this area.

Four rooms and one kid's room. One Single cot and one double cot are provided in all rooms. Kitchen is filled with all necessaries. Wifi inside the house works fine. Bathrooms needs attention. The location is perfect and have a grocery store very very nearby. Grocery, wine, beer available. In general I enjoyed the stay.

This is a gem. Close to crater lake ,very clean, great to have a little kitchen and refrigerator, and owners are great! They have movies for you to watch and a nice stream to walk to in the evening. Wish we had stayed there more nights instead or going up to the Crater lodge which was not worth it!!!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Jo's to be near the Crater Lake park. The room reminded us of a Cape Cod cottage, only cleaner and better equipped to prep our own meals from the fresh, well-stocked grocery. There are no other eateries nearby. Our room had a very cozy gas heater to keep the chill out too! Smokey air forced us to shorten our stay, and Robin & Jim were very gracious to refund our last night. They are both very nice to deal with. Thank you both.

Just stopped in for some groceries. Great atmosphere, cute place and absolutely outstanding customer service. Jo will go above and beyond to help you find what you're looking for. Good selection of healthy and organic food. There's fresh produce as well as frozen and shelf stable staple items.

One word, magical! Lucked into this hidden on gem over 4th of July last year Found a campstie right by the river, dips into the wood river were rejuvenating. Morning by the river bank was surreal! Would love to camp again! :)
