First time the drinks have been bad. Something is definitely off. One Italian soda was too sweet the other tasted like water and the coffee was not good at all tasted really bitter, it overwhelmed the drink. Ended up going to get drinks another place, such a waste of money.
I am so sad to say this, but what happened, your coffee used to be so good. The drinks were bitter, inconsistent quality and frankly undrinkable, we ended up throwing them out. Please fix whatever has happened.

This place is my favorite coffee shop in all of Eugene/Springfield. I’m very particular about my coffee & I like it to be very strong. I’ve tried quite a few places and only 2 make Espresso Milkshakes. The other one was okay but it didn’t have a strong coffee flavor so I made sure to ask the barista if theirs was strong when I went to Metro Bru. She said yes but I was still unsure until I tried the drink. It is amazing!! It’s delicious & strong. It’s a bit of a drive for me to go here but totally worth it and the baristas are always super friendly. I’ve also tried their Italian sodas, smoothies, and the zucchini bread and those are great as well. The zucchini bread is really moist & on the days they don’t have it, it’s disappointing but I just get my regular espresso milkshake.
This is MY local coffee place! Love their coffee and i miss them so much when i'm on vacation (haha). The baristas are always friendly and pull excellent shots! My kids love their italian sodas, smoothies, and hot chocolates! My kids also love the baristas and we get to know some of them. They still ask about Taneka every once in awhile! :)

The blended chillers are my favorite. They blend the ice so fine that it almost feels like soft serve. I did notice on a few visits that they didn't blend my chiller thoroughly and it made a big difference. The ice chunks gave it a sandy/rocky mouthfeel which was very disappointing. I'm still giving 4 stars for quality/service and I'll add one more if they can dial in the ice consistency consistently. 9/1/22 update: Not impressed. I ordered a chiller this morning and it had icebergs in it (see pic). I started going here because of how good the chillers were but I'm afraid they don't make it correctly anymore. -1 star 😕 09/11/22: chillers are blended to perfection! 5⭐

This place is very close to my work and if they were on par with other coffee huts I'd make it my regular stop, but in my opinion they're slow and the lattes taste watered down. I've given these guys 3 chances and today when I came by 7:35 and waited behind 3 cars for 20 minutes it was the last straw and I left. The cars in front of me were handed a drink, not a carrier of them, A drink.
I love this coffee shop. The drinks are always good and they are one of the only places in town I can find safe gluten free food! This is huge for people with celiac.
