Great home cook breakfast with fresh products. Made to order and home made sweet rolls. The bacon was crisp and the eggs were perfect. The owners were personable and friendly. Get there early a small space but a expansion menu. We will be back. Cash only but very affordable.

I don't usually write reviews but this little tiny restaurant/coffee shoppe has by far exceeded my expectations, which if I'm being honest, isn't easily done! Staff was very welcoming, and everything we ordered was absolutely AMAZING! Great eggs Benedict - probably the best I've ever had!

I had pregnancy cravings and village coffee shop sounded great plus their prices were excellent. I had heard amazing things about their breakfast so I called to place an order for pick up. It was pretty clear that the phone call was not important to the person that answered. I was put "on hold" (the phone was just set down and I could still hear all the sounds of the restaurant and the person that took my call talking to others). After five minutes of waiting I hung up and thought I'd just call again. Now all I'm getting is a busy tone indicating that the person still hasn't picked up the phone from my original call. I was looking forward to breakfast from here and a little bummed about being ignored.

I've always loved this place! It had been years since I had been here and I'm happy to report that the service and the food are still top notch!

A very authentic American eatery The best burger I had in years. Very nice service. They purposefully keep it feel “real America” “Ike Oregon coast used to be”. I also like their logo: “A little drinking village with a fishing problem”

Not the top coffee shop for me, due to our route, but is in the top two. Excellent coffee.

We were looking for a good breakfast spot in Pacific City and this place had pretty good reviews. All in all, it was definitely tasty but kind of a weird atmosphere. It is setup almost like someones dining room. It's a very homey atmosphere and the hot food (as well as the wide variety baked goods were all delicious). We split a raspberry Danish to start and then I got Spinach, Bacon, and Cheese omelet with breakfast potatoes and a biscuit. My girlfriend got scrambled eggs and Canadian bacon. Everything was really good. The omelet was perfectly fluffy and the biscuit came with great whipped butter. I would definitely recommend getting that as your "bread". Village COFFEE shoppe loses points for subpar coffee. It was very watered down and I ended up getting coffee from the gas station across the street. PRO TIP: THEY ONLY TAKE CASH. And there is no ATM. Be sure to stop somewhere to get cash first. No Venmo or PayPal either. All in all, this was a good breakfast and I liked that we were eating amongst locals as opposed to the yuppies on vacation. With that said, I wish we had tried somewhere else.

A little wait for a table (they have a small amount of seating) but it was worth the wait. These guys are friendly and have great food. One of the best breakfast plates around. Come early and come often and tell them Chef/Pastor Bry sent you!

We decided to forego a place down the road that we like to try this place. Photos of the food looked really good, and a great overall rating. The corned beef hash was very bland and dry. It was made with canned corned beef, which is fine, but not flavorful at all. I also ordered sourdough toast…the toast was also very bland. Not salty flavor or “sour” flavor. The gravy was very thick, canned gravy. The only thing I enjoyed was the service and the coffee. We were also surprised when we went to pay the bill that they don’t take cards……there’s only a small sign on the register. I don’t feel that’s right to do, but I guess it prevents people from leaving due to not taking cards. Likely won’t be back.

Your standard breakfast menu with friendly service and plenty of coffee. We enjoyed our early morning Sunday breakfast with the town locals at Village Coffee. Cash or check only.

The food here was great. We arrived at 10:20 on a Wednesday morning to find the place packed and a line of people waiting for a table. As I waited to out my name down for a table, I overheard the chatter of other customers with the friendly staff. Lots of locals eating there, which was why we decided to wait an hour to get a table for our party of 6. The place is tiny and not much to look at. We were finally seated outside which was perfect for us. We had: chicken strips, a cheeseburger, clam chowder, pancakes with strawberries, a Denver omelette, and biscuits and gravy. Everyone cleaned their plates and sampled each other’s dishes. My 10 year old also got a giant chocolate chip cookie to take home. As noted in several other reviews, it is cash only and not posted anywhere. But my husband was able to walk over to the Shell station and use the ATM and so it wasn’t a problem.

Tiny place, only 16 seats and only 4-5 parking spots. People are nice and very smooth coffee. The food is okay, just not as much flavor as expected from these reviews.

Cash only, wasn't mentioned when we walked in. Usually we don't have cash on us. Luckily today we did. Had the biscuit and two eggs, gravy was gross kinda cold. Tasted out of the can. No seasoning. Eggs fine needed salt too. But was definitely a cheap breakfast

CASH OR CHECK ONLY! That caught me by surprise. But there is a gas station at the corner where you can use the ATM. The gas station clerk said they don't do cash back, so you'll have to pay the ATM fee. The food is great but skip the O.J. it's made by Dole and has a weird banana/pineapple aftertaste which isn't bad if that's your thing and I'm not here to judge you or your weirdness. I had the chicken fried steak with eggs over medium and they were perfect.
