Food and coffee was decent. Service time was so slow. Only a few people in there and it took 10 minutes for coffee and 30 minutes for food.

Breakfast was delicious! I'm going to need more than just a sample of the custard on my next stop in!

It's been really hard to find exceptional frozen custard outside of Wisconsin. We moved away a few years ago, and I'm so glad we found this place. The custard is AWESOME!!!

Stars are for atmosphere and friendly staff, NOT for food, drinks or service Cute place, staff helpful but food and drink nothing to rave about. We had a london fog tea latte, bagel breakfast sandwich and croissant breakfast sandwich- we had to wait 30min for our food!! Sandwiches lacked favor, bagel was burnt and they up charged for adding cream to the latte. We won't be back.

Cute, eclectic, and very clean restaurant. Order at the front counter and they bring it to you table. Love the animal themed table markers. Light airy and relaxing. Food was excellent! The biscuits and gravy is amazing! Buttery and flaky. My only suggestion would be to add the avacado in the burrito that was ordered as an extra - and not serve it on the side . Cute shop in the back where I purchased some cute earrings. Free sample of their custard ice cream had us coming back to get some . Such a special treat!

Excellent find! Take a break off I-5 for a cheery, creative, yummy, clean experience. Good coffee and menu selection. Breakfast was, well, really good! Prices were more than fair. Owner and staff friendly.

I truly love this place, I think its definitely one of the better spots to eat locally. I don't mind bussing my own table, it also allows me and my son to come and go when we want...which is convenient, and the food is priced well for how delicious it is! friendly staff and quality food! they may take a little time they are always busy and a little short staffed momentarily like the rest of the world. sincerely Drew

My wife and I went in for lunch it is a very touristy vibe sort of a coffee house for people coming through the area it was hit and miss I ordered their club it was excellent she ordered the turkey cranberry sandwich which was a zero maybe if it was hot meat but the meat was cold and slimy and watery just didn't work the salads are good will come back give them another chance. Just have a personal dislike to have to buss my own table like McDonald's that's a personal opinion and not having actual waiters or waitresses and having to order at the counter and pay just kind of killed the whole vibe but that's the way they run it and give them respect for how clean it was except for when we went to buss our table the rack of dirty dishes was overflowing and there was no room to put the plates and had to cram it in kind of question the cleanliness of the whole thing then I'm wondering who's cleaning the table etc. Do wander around there's cool things to buy there's a little cute store in the back and it shares with the nice dress shop next door it's definitely worth a try just be warned on some aspects.

Host/Waitress is very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make sure our order was done correctly. Even though they are short handed it wasn’t a deal breaker they are trying their best to get the food out in a timely manner. There is a store attached to the back of the cafe and it is worth the time to take a look. Thank you Crater Café! Will be recommending to friends and family!

Had the veggie hummus wrap today delivered for lunch. The portion of wrap was great! The freshness of ingredients super great! However zero seasoning or flavor! couldn't even tell it it had hummus on it. It all just tasted like the water from the mushrooms and tofu. Disappointing!!! Turmeric does not pack much flavor and it seems that is all that was used.

Food was great and reasonably priced. The people here were awesome. Make sure you explore the Jackalope shop on the back for unique and locally made items.

Coffee was good, food was good. Daughter had large pancakes with little amount of syrup, and charged extra for more syrup. Received breakfast with toast and got no butter or jam for toast.
