The owner of this coffee bar is the rudest individual I've ever encountered, and he should not be in the service industry. Long story short, I found a food menu for this place on Google maps, and the menu was incorrect. I was fine with it. I was just going to get a latte and forget about the food. I politely mentioned to the owner that they may want to get their website/ Google updated. From there, he was INCREDIBLELY rude, condescending, argumentative, and immature. He raised his voice at me, which was completely unwarranted. I wouldn't recommend supporting his business.

Palate is my favorite place to pick up a delicious tea or matcha (they also have other delicious drinks) and visit with friends! The atmosphere is inviting and warm, the staff is wonderfully friendly and the back patio is a hidden gem! Thank you, Palate friends!

Cozy spot. Drip was great, love that they use Coava. Friendly baristas— slightly off-putting: ignored by one as I stood there while they chatted up some customers. The other noticed and covered. Will give it another go sometime.

Enjoyed a delicious ice Matcha tea here today. My first visit - I have been meaning to stop in for a long time and glad I finally did! They staff were excellent - you can tell they know their stuff and care about the place. I love the cosy atmosphere inside and lots of outdoor seating too. Street parking was easy. I’ll be back.

A tiny place w/ especially good - and spicy - hot chai. They also make the most incredible designs on the top of the beverage. Most hot chai elsewhere, including Starbucks', is meh.

Best coffee in Bend, hands down. Cardamom lattes are a special treat but I'll take their classic Coava coffee everyday. It's easy to pull over on Colorado Ave and run in for a delicious loose tea, handmade matcha, coffee or pastry. Cool people work there and the vibe is unique. Sit down and enjoy your coffee in a mug with a refill or grab one togo on your errands. Only downside is there aren't more of them around town!

Nice spot but mediocre coffee. I've gotten an americano a few times and it's always watered down and bland. They also do the same amount of espresso for every size. If the small is watered down I can imagine what a large tastes like

Love starting my day here. Great *fresh* matcha here. Its green not the color of old hay. Friendly staff too.

Absolutely wonderful little spot to sit and work on something. Cozy atmosphere with lots of plants and plenty of fun things to look at. Employees are super nice and friendly as well, and both the coffee and tea are excellent. They often have items from local bakeries as well, sometimes including gluten free options.

The Mocha is awesome - not sweet! Great morning vibe with matching sound track. I'll return next time around.
