Was on my way to a different cafe when this spot grabbed my attention! Wonderful service, great tea, and amazing bagels. So glad I changed my plans and stopped in here.
The cafe uses coffee beans from their own roaster and it is very good. Their baristas area friendly, appear well trained, pull a great shot, and make great cafe lattes. The cafe on Newport is roomy and has a great feel and is where I go when I'm out and need a coffee. I usually drink it there, instead of to go, because it adds to the experience.

Best chai I've had in years - ginger-heavy and DELICIOUS. Strong, tasty coffees. One suggestion - would love some vegan pasty options!
Finally found a coffee shop with lavender and it's hands down best coffee I've found in bend so far 🤤 Plenty of seating and large enough that it's not to loud

WOW I am so impressed with Backporch Coffee Roasters! Stopped here when driving through Bend to check out a local coffee roaster - ended up coming back multiple times during my 1.5 weeks in the area. The coffee is just really good. I got hot and iced lattes that were consistently made well. On my first visit to this location I got the honey lavender latte and loved it. My friend and I each walked away with a bag of beans to take home. We also tried out the pour-over packets which are perfect for camping or having in class. They have a case of great-looking baked goodies - the only vegan item is a bagel (hope for more in the future) and there are some gluten-free items. The sea salt chocolate chip cookie is amazing! There are also some bars and chocolate bars. The atmosphere is very laid back. It's the perfect spot to hang out with a friend or study/work on a laptop. Not too loud inside and they have free wifi that works very well (I was able to stream videos without any issues). Can't wait to come back!
Nice spot for coffee/snack and remote work.
Best coffee I had since being back in the States. It's hard to find coffee like overseas in Australia and New Zealand in the USA. I was thrilled to find a good flat white.

Slowest Wifi in Central Oregon. The staff today 8/17/22 was unwilling to check the router and there was not anyone in line!

Probably one of the top 3 coffee shops in Bend. They have some excellent coffee and know how to make coffee strong. They are really great for people visiting because they are friendly and know the area. And they are also great for locals because they offer punch cards.
Great coffee and ultra fast Wi-Fi. UPDATE - today I had their Hot Chocolate (now that Winter is back!). Really good!
Coffee is excellent! Non bitter, does not upset your GI system and super smooth. The baristas were super sweet. I also really appreciated the specialty add on’s like sea salt on your mocha, yum.
My favorite coffee in Bend! Cute space and the staff are always so friendly. I love the nitro coffee and iced latte. They also have a great breakfast sando!
I love drinking back porch coffee on the front porch. This local coffee shop hits all the right notes!
