🚨‼️There is NO GAS here as of March 2023, unless you have a prepaid Fuel Commander card. The pumps are broken and there is no ETA on getting them fixed. Closest gas is Plush (North, biz hours) or Lakeview (East, 24/7)
It says it’s a store, it’s not a store. It’s a smelly restaurant with rude worker that didn’t like our existence. We were starving, but walked right out it was so bad. Awkward.
Cool store and has potential if it were more accommodating to everyone. Stopped in for a bite but was rudely turned away when asking about gluten-free options. Wont be returning because of the service.
Solid stop in the middle of nowhere. Kind folks. Good dogs. Tasty burgers 🍔 that are the biggest I’ve ever eaten! Well-made sandwich and nicely seasoned fries. Tasty chili as well. Say hi to sweet Queenie the dog curled up in the entry hallway if you stop in.
They claim they have an RV park when in reality it is a gavel spot next to the store. I plugged my surge protector into one post it had red lights. Next pole there was a hornets nest thankfully I have solar. Didn't bother with the water did dump. Pretty disappointing after a long day of driving. The only bright side is the women in the store were super nice.
Great food & gas remotely.
Came in to check out this iconic spot. Definitely interesting decor. The young woman working there wasn't very welcoming or friendly. We don't spend our money in places like that. Ever. So far our trip through the outback has been nothing but pleasant and met with kind and welcoming people. This place was an exception to that. She couldn't hide her snark.
Stayed in rv Park. Owners dogs always barking at you when you are outside and peed all over our ice chest.
When you're traveling along Hwy 140 E in Oregon, stop in to say hello to #theadelstore and owner. The staff greet you smilin' asking how you can be helped. Pay careful attention for Queenie, the stores dog sleeping just as you enter the store. If your need is gasoline for your vehicle, this is full service station. In other words, the station dispenses your fuel. If you require fuel for your #hungerpains The Adel Store has a full menu. It's all great, I am certain. However, I do recommend the #dailyspecials. Adel casters mainly to the locals, but allowed #panda_dan_and_sasquatch , so I reckon you are welcome too.This is just enough to keep your cowboys n' cowgirls working the rest of the day (for city folk, that's usually after #jeopardy airs ). It adds to the true authenticity of Adel, its area; its way of life; its livelihood; its people; its ability to maintain a rich history still even in this day of technology to have instant gratification all-the-while changing ones mind a thousand times. Places like Adel survive #theoldfashionway they earn their day. Choices are few, but value is true here. Areas like Adel cherish the definition of value. Important #sidenote , the owner is a schoolteacher grades 4th - 8th in same room. That's right, #littlehouseontheprairie style. How rich is this. She claims teaching for 35 yrs but looks only like a kid herself. Wouldn't you agree? Must be something in the #oregon water.🤔 #travelexperienceappreciate

This wonderful lady helped us so much on our trip to Oregon to see our new granddaughter. She also has a new grandson. If we're ever in that area again, we will definitely stop. Just a beautiful soul!!!! Thank you again all the way from Mississippi.
Brother Frank that works at the store was a Godsend! I was running out of gas, had no phone or internet signal. The more I drove it seemed like this store popped up out of nowhere. Being a brown skin Brother I was a bit apprehensive, but Frank welcomed me, let me use the phone and internet, gave me a free large cup of coffee and a delicious breakfast biscuit on the house and pumped my gas!! May God bless Brother Frank and the Adel store. A great place for any and everyone!
If you find your way coming through 140 be sure to stop and get one of their delicious burgers!!!

This gas station saved my life. I almost ran out of gas in the middle of the mountains. It was pretty expensive but worth it.

In the middle of nowhere! Get a tank of gas and a bacon cheeseburger. Fill up on water and your off for more adventure! Four stars for being here!
