Perfect mocha with excellent atmosphere!
Good Lattes and Frappuccino. Got a Gluten-Free Macaron from the bakery and it was good as well. They had other gluten free options but didn't try them.
1st time coffee was amazing,
Literally the worst coffee ever. Was watered down coffee GROUNDS. Would rather let the absence of coffee ruin my morning over awful coffee.
Please train your baristas! My husband ordered plain lattes and the young girl poured coffee into the cups and stirred in milk! The coffee was really good but the order was wrong.
Apart from Buttersweet, Motion is just not good. Little understanding of espresso drinks, tons of grounds in the drip coffee, slow service.
First off, this place smells absolutely wonderful because of the cupcakes! Barista didn’t know how to make a 6oz americano so that’s why I’m only giving two stars. Otherwise the place is fine.
Awesome staff! Gluten free options!
My review is more for the coffee itself (Killr Coffee). I feel like $25 is too much to spend for 12oz of coffee. I was handing the cashier my card before she told me it was $25 for the bag of whole beans, and it didn’t set in until I was in my truck questioning why I had just spent so much for a bag of coffee. I almost went back in to ask for a refund, but I figured I would try it and learn my lesson the hard way. There are a couple other local roasters in OKC, that in my opinion have a superior coffee for $5 - $7 cheaper per 12oz bag. I would suggest carrying their coffee instead, as it would still be cheaper for someone to drive into the city to purchase their coffee. Killr Coffee seems to be a little too proud of their product.
Good decor and atmosphere, but the espresso falls short. I ordered a cortado, a menu item, which is basically just equal parts espresso and steamed milk. The milk should be just enough to balance the bitterness of the espresso, which should be the prominent flavor. However, the drink I received tasted like the espresso was severely over extracted managing to be bitter and sour at the same time. There are loads of coffee shops in the metro who make espresso right (e.g. Evoke, Clarity, Elemental, Slingers...etc), but Motion isn't one of them. If you are going to charge $3.50 for a classic coffee drink it should measure up to others in the area in the same price range.
Cool vibe. They were very precise in asking how I liked my latte. Customized the sweetness to my preference. Free WiFi, a very clean lounge and eating area. A hidden gem for sure.
Motion Coffee is just a nice place to visit. The coffee is always spectacular. They have such a variety of drinks and I love their daily specials. Its always nice to find a coffee shop with great coffee, an upbeat atmosphere, and excellent customer service. These Baristas really know how to deliver an excellent cup of coffee.
Awesome new coffee spot, It's right across from where we stay so its become our new favorite spot to get coffee in the morning, they have awesome flavors and the staff is always friendly and helpful! I really recommend that everyone try it!
So I live super close by, and I love there cupcakes but holy cow their staff has ZERO training in the coffee. My husband and I order a iced coconut milk latte and an iced Americano. It took 16 mins for 2 coffees (we were the only customers there). Then I was told they were out of coconut milk (which is fine things happen I get it) but then I watched the girl slide of a cabinet FULL of almond and coconut milk boxes. They had no clue it was even there and didn't offer to fix my drink. The coffee was bitter, shots sat to long. The vibe is SUPER cute, same with decor but I feel they jumped into the coffee business without proper training of the staff and knowledge of the a proper espresso shot. Maybe in a few months I'll give it another try but for now I shall go elsewhere.
