Lot of people don't know about this place. It is well worth the drive. Great coffee great pastries great food. You'll love it. Just make sure you get there before they close for the day.
Certainly not a bad place for lunch. Was nice to spend my lunch break somewhere calm and quiet. Service was great, food was good. Not quite in line with the price though. $12 and change for a sandwich and drink. Could use just a little boost to be worth that price, little things like use romaine rather than iceberg, a quality mustard over basic French's yellow. Otherwise really nice place and super friendly staff. Will definitely be back to try some of the other menu items.

We stopped in for breakfast and were greeted with the kindest, coolest, friendliest owners. We had the bacon egg burrito and the biscuits and sausage gravy. It was perfect. The B&Gs were really delicious and very filling. Super reasonable price. The environment is top notch with great Oklahoma artist’s work on display and some of the best tables and woodwork I’ve seen in a small place. Just wonderful. Highly recommended. Oh and we left with cinnamon rolls and brownies for the road.
This is a stop well worth the drive!! Coffee, breakfast sandwich fresh, hot and delicious cinnamon rolls and brownies to take along were the best I have had anywhere. Atmosphere was peaceful and calming. Clean and naturally beautiful decor. ❤
Had a hamburger. It tasted like a baked potato. I love baked potatoes. 5 stars.
Washington's Outstanding Restaurant!!
I love meeting my friends here for a nice breakfast or lunch. The food is always good and the baked good are delicious. The staff is always friendly and have smiles on their faces.
Closed and no one answered the phone. Called on a day sign said open. Didn't get to eat or see what the place is like.
I bought the grilled chicken sandwich. It was tasty and moist. The coleslaw was different than what I am used to but still very tasty. I will be coming back to Washington for more from Althea's.

Adorable hole in the wall Cafe. Owners are as sweet as can be & the young lady working the register is kind & helpful. A place with a history, good fresh food, and amazing fresh baked goods. Highly recommend! You step in, and have stepped out of tiny Washington Oklahoma.
Working near by wanted a quick bite to eat. Ordered online for pick up. Food was done on time and people where friendly. The Mac and cheese with bacon was awesome. Price was alittle high but for supporting local business and good food I would highly recommend giving them a try.
One of my favorite stops for just about anything! Their burgers and sandwiches are great, Mac and cheese is out of this world and don’t even get me started on the brownies! The staff is always so friendly and the owners are so kind!
