The food was okay but my burger had to be remade because there was mold on the bun. The best thing there was the fries.
Super cool atmosphere felt like stepping back in time the staff was super friendly and the food was amazing absolutely loved it! Would be a great “weekend venture” or a stop in while traveling!
I was in Tulsa attending my daughter's graduation and we stopped in to get lunch The food was awesome and the staff was very polite. Highly recommend
Would have probably left a better review if the 2 waitresses assigned to the upstairs would have acknowledged our existence. Unfortunately we sat there for over 5 minutes without a drink order even being taken, while both waitresses continued to take orders & make eye contact with me while they just skipped the table. We were excited to try the place.
One of the best omletes I've had! It was also a big meal!
Straight ahead good food prepared and served with care, and if you’re a chicken fried steak fan you’ll thank me. The servers are friendly and professional, quick with a smile and your refill. A corner diner with convenient hours.
Chicken Fried Steak and eggs so good. The Eggs Benny was ok. Sauce was almost scrambled eggs. But the rest was great
We love Tally's! Victor knows our 4 year old's order. Cheeseburger plain and dry and dry with fries and a sweet tea! Good cooking, great atmosphere!
God awful experience. Avoid ordering through delivery apps. Whether they forgot to add my food or the delivery driver did not deliver, the restraunt gave me short, rude responses and refused to help. Her reasoning? "Well we made the food so i dont know what to tell you". I did not get to speak to a MOD or a higher up. I paid 60+ dollars WITH 20% tip to receive 20-30 dollars worth of food missing. Should've looked at the reviews for delivery because it seems this is a normal occurance for them. They obviously don't care once the food is made. Think twice before you order to go here. (Note: Delivery service refunded me 25 dollars and was kind enough to apologize for the slacking restraunt.)
Country fried steak was THE BEST. Salad was good too.
So the food tore our stomachs up! Our waitress was good, the helpers were rude. The atmosphere was delightful.
My husband loved the omelet. I had a Greek salad. It was good, but had a dry cucumber slice on it. I didn't like that. Of all the places, they sat us next to the cash register and prep area. It's my own fault I didn't ask to be re-seated. There were plenty of other tables. Looking around, I felt the place was dirty. The vent in the bathroom was broken and full of dust. There was a lot more that I saw. It doesn't help having worked at the Environmental Health Dept with food inspectors🙈The other Tally Cafe on S Sheridan was better.
Atmosphere was so fun for my little girls, food was phenomenal. We got the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, chicken and waffles (yyyyum), and chicken strips for the kiddos, all excellent! Servers were awesome and attentive one of the best places in Tulsa to eat hands down.
First time and won't be the last. Food had great flavor, server was awesome, we didn't catch her name, but she has sleeve tattoos and is fabulous. Thanks hun your amazing! Cook you done excellent. Well see you all soon again! The Rowe family loved it!
So I have always heard how great this place was. I wasn't that impressed. We got fried catfish that didn't seem all the way done. It was lacking seasoning. The hamburger my husband got really wasn't good. I got the chicken avocado sandwich that didn't seemed all the way cooked. So for sixty dollars I really wish we would have gone somewhere else. The atmosphere was dinner style. It was very loud in there. Staff seemed like they just walk around and talk to each other a lot. I just wasn't impressed.
We were there on 4/22 when we had all just ordered our food. It was my son's 16th birthday and the electric went out. The waitress staff were amazing as well as the cook! I've been going there since I was in my late teens, and this was such an amazing experience. Thank you for your wonderful customer service. Not one person got up and left I don't think. Even Tally came up and was pitching in. Best in Tulsa by far. On another note, we had a little kid with us and her speghetti was whipped up immediately but the cook so she wouldn't freak out by it being so dark. It came out not even 5mins after we ordered! It kept her calm and happy.
Disappointed with food. Ordered bacon and toast. Bacon was hard, luke warm & dry, could tell it had been under warming light. Not freshly cooked. Coffee was good, as was service.
Cute place on Route 66 in Tulsa. The service was fast and the food was delicious. I would have rated it higher overall, but the place was filthy and a bit rundown. There was dust on all of the window blinds, dirt and grime in the corners and trim everywhere, and many of the chairs and our two tables were torn, beat up, and wobbly/unsteady.
No one beats Tally's for the best diner in town the service and the food are always top notch in every way I've been enjoying Tally's for 30+ years definitely a Tulsa icon and landmark famous for the best n biggest chicken fry and giant cinnamon rolls
Be patient if they're busy, it's worth it. Had dinner and saw the cinnamon rolls, so I went back the next morning. They grind their own coffee beans. They use coffee in the icing for the cinnamon rolls instead of milk. So delicious.
