First time at this location in my hometown after being introduced last week to NYAJ at the Midtown OKC location—and I love the unique qualities of both locations! Sabrina brewed me the same terrific coffee I had last week (they make a special Americano with FOUR shots for me—you should call it the "IV"—get it?) and provided the same outstanding service! And it's spacious inside and out! Look forward to visiting here many more times, and introducing NYAJ to other folks!
They make a great cappuccino!
Atmosphere is cute and welcoming. A few types of seating. Amazing drinks and home made ice cream, Yes please. If you're around for any reason it's worth a stop.
I bring everyone here just because I love it so much! Never a bad experience when I come in, and the coffee is amazing
Amazing coffee, and wonderful service. Great brand spreading a great message. Definitely hope to see more.
This place is fantastic. They offered the best coffee and showed the best attitude to its customers. This place is indeed perfect for studying and chilling out. It was hushed, and I just wanted to return to this place. Thank you
Absolutely in love with this special coffee shop! They have 5 different locations in Oklahoma! My favorite so far is the Norman location! If you are looking for a smoothie, a coffee, espresso, homemade ice cream, pastry, tea, etc., this is the best! The atmosphere is so laid back and relaxing, super cozy! The drinks are wonderful and the food is even better! My favorite, the employees! ❤️
Please post your prices!
Love this place. Great mission. Great employees. Great coffee. Great food.
The best coffee shop in Norman though Oklahoma City.
Absolutely awesome place. Good food, great coffee and even better staff.
I think I had great expetations but I was let down HARD.
Amazing customer service, coffee and pastries. There are many comfortable spots to sit and chill or places to do your homework. A nonprofit coffee company that employees disabled people. Great cause and for anyone to go to. They have ice cream, sandwiches and so much more. While your there buy a souvenir.
Amazing!! Love them there. Their specialty lattes are always delicious and I feel comfortable studying there for a few hours :) highly recommend the blueberry muffin latte, or anything with the blueberry or cinnamon syrup in general! 💖
The staffs here are very nice and sweet! I can focus on my study! Very nice ! Love it! Thank you so much!
Absolutely love this place and their vibe!
Yes this might be a cute little coffee shop but the management is awful. I applied for the job back in February and didn’t hear anything till April. During my interview the owner never showed up and the manager didn’t even know that there was an interview set up between the owner Tim and I. After my interview I was told to contact them with my schedule and never heard back. After endless of calls and e-mails I never received a response. Despite whether or not I got the job it is beyond unprofessional to not respond with a final answer. This worries me since there is special needs people working in these shops. Management needs to change.
Had the most wonderful experience here! Beautiful, welcoming and warm coffee shop. I got a red bull with cream and it was exactly what I needed. Also enjoyed delicious horchata ice cream and a power ball, so good!! Liam assisted us and he was so kind and helpful. There was a woman that was conducting the training, I didn’t get her name but she took the time to explain the mission of Not Your Average Joe and she was such wonderful company. She convinced me to move to Norman. Thank you so much!
Update: This review was originally posted on November 5, 2021. But I noticed three minor spelling and grammatical errors, which were fixed on July 18, 2022. I came in on a Friday afternoon for a lab meeting. The employees were friendly and helpful. I ordered a club sandwich and horchata latte. Both were excellent. For the sandwich, the bacon was crispy and avocado slices were fresh. But why only three stars? They gave my lab mate and me broken tortilla chips, the bits and pieces that settled to the bottom of the bag. She looked disappointed and only ate the few solid pieces, leaving the smaller bits. I ate most of them because I was hungry. But it was annoying to have to use the small bits to scoop up salsa. My professor, who showed up later, got whole-sized chips for his order. Also, they don't post the prices on their menu above the counter. I wouldn't have changed my order had I known the prices beforehand. But it's useful to let your customers know how much they're going to pay for items before they actually order.
The coffee and food are delicious, but expensive. Prices need to be included on the menu.
