I visited with Shannon Whittington of CLC Publishing about a couple books I'm writing. We met at Iron Tree Coffee because she recommended it. The atmosphere was great. The music was good and not too loud. Coffee (Caramel Macchiato) was amazing.
They are the best coffee around! They are worth driving 30 minutes to get. They are the Only place I know how to make a Frappuccino in something besides just vanilla, Caramel and mocha. Their almond joy frappe is THE BOMB!!!

When I saw the exposed brickwork, the solid wood tabletops on pipework legs I recognised the modern coffee shop aesthetic and felt comfortable. The good news is, Iron Tree backs the good looks up with an excellent americano.
