The food (I've had sandwiches and cookies) and drinks are delicious. I love the atmosphere and the art wall that's updated every month. Great place to relax or get some work done away from home/work!
Best little coffee shop in Durant! I love that it's in a historic downtown building. It's usually fairly busy and has a lot of loyal customers.
Best mocha in the coffee game. Coffee cake and cookies are top notch. Their sandwiches and flat breads are also really good. The friendliest service of any food establishment I've ever been to. Atmosphere is one of a kind.
They have the best coffee in town! I love their iced vanilla lattes and their seasonal drink, vanilla mint latte. They have milk alternatives, which I appreciate. The staff is very nice and helpful. I've been here several times already and have not had one bad experience. The atmosphere is also very nice.
Great environment for getting work done and running into people you know in town.

2nd time going here to get coffee... the people that work there are AMAZING!!! I'm SO happy to have a Coffee place less than 5 miles from home...the prices for the Coffee are low...but the quality of the Coffee is 1000%

The best coffee shop in Durant. This place opened when I first started college and is still amazing. The staff is great and the owners obviously put their heart and soul into this place. It has an amazing atmosphere. And the quality of coffee is great. It is the perfect place to meet a friend or study alone. Not to mention I have had encouraging notes written on my coffee and tea more than once!
Don’t go anywhere else for lunch. This is the spot. They serve coffee in big ceramic cups if you don’t get take out. They have really nice sandwiches and soups too! The atmosphere of the old building makes for the perfect place to study or have a business lunch. It’s laid back and welcoming.

Best coffee i have ever had! The food delicious! 5 stars isnt enough should be 10! The atmosphere is amazing staff very friendly. The old opera house is self is very clean and inviting this is great for a 1st date! Moms day out just a place to read a book or relax if you are in durant stopping by here is a must!
I like to come here when I stop to charge my vehicle at the lost street station. They make good pastries and good coffee. Service is kind and efficient. Can't go wrong here
This coffee shop caught Mrs. Flip Out’s attention and so we stopped for to-go drinks. She got a breve and said it was perfect. She ordered me a Mexican Chocolate steamer and it was good. It was a large, spacious coffee shop and seemed to be a good atmosphere for meetings or getting work done. Little Flip Out devoured the cookie she got for him. Great place to check out if you’re in Durant!
I travel through Durant about 2-3 times a year and I heard about opera house a few years ago and I’ve been coming every time I’m in town since then. It used to be amazing! Delightful staff, great coffee, and good food. However, the past two times I’ve visited haven’t been good. I wonder if this joint changed owners (has been for sale multiple times?) bc it sure feels like it is under new management. The first bad visit was a few months ago and the man working seemed to be very unhappy and the coffee he served me was not good, definitely the worst I’ve had from there. I went again a few days ago and once again the staff seemed very unhappy to be there. Normally this wouldn’t bother me but no one seemed happy to serve me at all and it left me in a bad mood. I am greatly effected by the moods of others so this was very hard on me. The coffee was once again sub par. Suffice to say I’ll be finding another coffee shop to visit when I’m going through this town.
You have to try the Brown Butter Snickerdoodle cookie. Great coffee, great atmosphere, one of my favorite coffee shops.
Great variety of coffees and treats! Loved my foamy cappuccino!
