Great little place in Boise City. Doesn't look like much on the outside but great food awaits you inside. The service was great as our waitress was very nice and helpful. My grandson had the cheeseburger and chips with the fixings on the side which he appreciated. I had the steak sandwich and fries. Everything served hot to the table. Just a nice mom and pop place.
Enjoyed a lunch a tasty lunch freshly prepared in small but tidy and friendly cafe.
Boise City, Kansas. Quaint, generous and and tasty! We were told to sit where we wanted and I headed one way and my husband the other. I joined him when I noticed but the local farmers here pointed out with a big grin that "She said we could sit where we wanted" (even if it were two separate booths.) The high school across the street has 80 kids... 1500 people in the whole county. The waitress says the same farmers come in for breakfast, lunch and sometimes dinner. She knows what they order every day so puts in the order as they drive up.
Cashier gave me a menu and rolled her eyes, and then didn't tell me that breakfast was over until I was going to order. Then the cashier and short order cook were kissing and spilled gravy all over herself. Instead of working they're kissing in front of customer. Just do your work and aave the kissing for off of work. It'll stop you from spilling hot gravy on yourself. 🤨
Food and service were wonderful
This is a great local place to go for breakfast. Very friendly service, welcoming atmosphere, and great food for an incredibly reasonable price (less than $15 for two of us). It was a little slow, but we weren't in a rush so that wasn't a problem.
Closed at 815am. Cause what coffee shop would be open EARLY?
Attempted Breakfast - We got there and were told we could have breakfast. So we sat down and waited about five minutes. The lady came to take our order. When she took it to the cook, she wouldn't accept it, saying that breakfast ended at 10:45 a.m. even though we had come in and sat down about 10:40 a.m. Very strange experience.

Didn't really like the food. It was overcooked. I probably won't stop there again. Who ever gave them a rating of 4 has low standards.

My husband and I stopped in here almost 2 years ago. It was totally awesome. I had the chicken fry, he had the chicken strips (when the food is that good, you remember)! Real pan gravy, real potatoes, tender steak and the chicken wasn't dry. The waitress was awesome. We were going to go back, but I lost my husband in September. Now I just can't bring myself to do it. I'm sorry.
The whole place was dirty. The food was old and over salted. The baked potatoe was cold dried out and probably days old. I have been sick for two days since eating there. The restaurant used to be nice with good food. It has gone straight to hell. I don’t recommend eating here.
Great hamburgers and service
It was good got the chicken strips and was very happy with the meal.
