Food and drinks are good. Customer service is terrible.
lovely owners
Never again. The owner made me feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome. I spent nearly $20 for a simple sandwich and drink. I ordered ahead and planned to take my order to-go, but I decided last-minute that I would just have my lunch there. I grabbed my order and took a seat. It wasn’t five minutes later, the owner asked to bring me a plate (as opposed to the to-go container). While I appreciated the gesture, I just didn’t think it was necessary and politely declined. He was noticeably infuriated by my response (stormed off while shaking his head and mumbling). He disappeared around the corner, and I heard a door slam. I was confused, upset, and embarrassed. So, I will never go there again. It’s a shame because I work downtown and my office loves Mocha House, but we will pass from now on. ✌️
I personally will never go back to the Youngstown location ever again. The manager, or who ever the older man is, will harass customers if they bring in ANY outside drinks or snacks even if you buy something from the restaurant. He has done this multiple times. If you do need to bring in anything i.e. drink/certain food because of an allergy or what have you, I suggest choosing a different restaurant to be at. Because what will happen will be you are going to be pestered into discarding what you have. They might have good food, but it’s just not worth the headache. Horrible customer service hands down from this man.
Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, fair prices. Excellent cheesecake. The roast beef mario melt is my favorite. Not the best espresso based drinks, not always as hot as they should be.
They served me cold food and when I called they offered to replace my $50 order with a cheesecake this was months ago and when I went in today the lady argued about whether it was a slice 9r an entire cheesecake then the sister of the owner goes "well since you didn't come in in enough time sounds like you forefit the cheesecake" well lady if you knew how to cook fresh food or read your own handwriting then we wouldn't have been in that predicament in the first place.. it's no wonder people don't go here anymore the owners are always there and their customer service sucks! The food is terrible too. Go to Boardman or Warren this location is absolutely terrible! Consider yourself warned ⚠️
The gyro was awful.. I think I got sick on it.
Food and coffee is great and often surprising in its inventiveness. The desserts are of course amazing (scones being an office favorite) and the staff is invested and wonderful. I have people who only visit biannually ask if we're going to Mocha on every visit.
I absolutely love all of the mocha House locations! I had my first visit at the downtown Youngstown location today. The staff was absolutely amazing! The environment was super clean and friendly. Go check out this location 🙂
Burger was really good an filling. The fries reminded me of when burger King used to have amazing fries. Very good place to hangout. Didnt bring my laptop so not sure about wifi.
Great service, prices , and food. Love the atmosphere and location.
Awesome customer service, great food, great prices, the best cheesecakes around.
Very nice staff and management. Food is great! They accommodated to helped us feed breakfast to over 75 hungry employees! 5 stars
Very open atmosphere with a professional flare of the bakery and menu. This is a locating for any caffeine/coffee fanatic.
The food is great with an excellent location downtown. Inside is clean and looks nice. Only downside is that they get a little busy and it can take a while to get food but you can always order ahead for pickup.
Simply AMAZING! Great atmosphere. The girls behind the counter are super welcoming and the owners treat me like family!
SO GOOD I absolutely loved my reuben sandwich and especially my french fries!! I normally go to a local deli for lunch but Mocha House is going to be a new favorite! So cute inside too!
Went for breakfast after going to the Youngstown flea. This is my second time here and I was so disappointed. My omelet had so much cheese I couldn’t eat but half of it, the toast, well let’s just say it wasn’t toast, more like bread, and my hashbrowns weren’t cooked. The place was busy because of all the things going on downtown, but the quality of the food they put out today was lacking.
Ordered a mocha and it tasted like a weak hot chocolate and came in styrofoam. Omelette was diner level.
Enchanting
