I'll start by saying that I'm not a coffee drinker, but I still loved this place! It's a really nice space with seating on the inside and outside. I wasn't a huge fan of the Southern tea that was recommended by the barista, but I'll definitely be back to try their chai tea latte and one of their scones. They looked amazing!
Great local shop. Quiche and latte was excellent. Staff extremely friendly
Friendly staff, but the espresso is not the best and way overpriced. $5 for a double shot of espresso
I came here to get coffee and work for a little bit. It was a nice environment. Not too loud and the internet worked well.
Cozy local coffee shop in downtown Worthington. The coffee and is fresh and the baked goods (scones!) are tasty. I liked the countertop seating facing the street which allows you to appreciate the neighborhood.
It was a great exp. Not very large but quaint.
Nice customer service and good coffee
My 5yo son is giving the “not so hot hot chocolate” five stars because “it has the cream to keep it warm.” 5⭐️
This used to be the place we went almost every morning for coffee. Then they were bought and under new management, the drinks are (to me) undrinkable. I don't know if it's because all efforts have been shifted to also being a bakery now, but the drinks are way too sweet - and this is coming from someone who doesn't consider themselves a coffee person! Maybe if I had a baked good it would disguise the sweetness of it, but it's been pretty disappointing. But if nothing else it spurred us to buy an espresso machine, and that's been vastly superior and is saving us money, so.. thanks?
Pastries and coffee taste pretty great. The space is cute and cozy to study or meet friends. Staff can be hit or miss, sometimes friendly or short and rude.
Great little coffee shop. The dark roast was very good.
One of my favorite coffee shops. Great coffee. Rather support local business than the evil corporate empires. Update -Went for first time in 2023 w new owner. Still great coffee but they were 14 deep on backed up coffee orders. Barista was very slow. Gotta move and shake when you're busy. It was standing room only and it wasn't that everyone came at once. It's that it took too long to make the coffee. Love the business and hope you succeed.... at speeding it up.
The coffee and food was great...the workers were patient with my indecisiveness and kind towards me. Very cool and artistic environment
Great little coffee house. Friendly staff. Really like their signature Maple Highline latte.
SOOOO GLAD I stopped by this coffee shop on my way down to Columbus from Cleveland☕️✨ Not only was my coffee 😍💯☕️👌🏻 AMAZING!!!!!!! but the staff were sooooo nice🤗💕🙏 I don't know her name, but there was a cute girl working at the register who gave me a cookie 🤗🍪 She made my day! 🍪💕 This place is so conveniently located, and there's free street parking 👍 it's a MUST to stop by Highline Coffee! The coffee shop is super cozy and cute inside (not super big); there're places to sit and enjoy your coffee 🤗☕️✨🏡 and inside.. the coffee shop is connected to another little shop/boutique. It's just such a nice atmosphere for a coffee date. If I'm ever passing through here again, I will 💯 definitely stop at Highline Coffee! ☕️✨ 🙏 Thank you!
I'd love to give Highline 5 stars ~ great location, great aesthetic, and I've loved seeing it grow! My go-to drink is a matcha latte with non-dairy milk - so much so that I make them at home regularly and have taken to perfecting my recipe. But sometimes I want a hot beverage when I am about town. My most recent experience w/ Highline's matcha was not pleasant so I'm posting here ONLY because I don't have Insta and that seems to be the only way to direct message (I really appreciate you all, Highline!). Based on the pale green of the drink I received (see pic), I wonder if culinary matcha has been subbed in here for a more ceremonial grade. This is SO common because the ceremonial grade stuff is $$. But the supposed culinary result was low on flavor and left me with something of a lingering, scalded aftertaste as though the milk had been overheated. Did not drink :( My home recipe for success has involved a shift to *granulated* maple syrup *bless*, I add a tablespoon to an empty mug, froth 2 oz water with 1/4 tsp ceremonial grade matcha, add to mug. Then froth 4oz non-dairy milk, top of mug. The drink mixes itself so no stirring! Lots of recipes call for 1 or even 2 tsp matcha and I find the outcome is still excellent with less matcha ~ which also makes for a more cost-effective ceremonial equation. Happy to see Highline thrive and hope this encouragement can help make a good operation better!
Great experience and staff was helpful, accommodating, and friendly!
Great cappuccino. Great view of park The have a La Marzocco espresso machine and One Line coffee beans for sale.
Highline is a bright, welcoming space in Downtown Worthington that serves fantastic (and ethically-sourced) One Line coffee along with some baked goods. They have a few outdoor seating spots, and they feature art and handmade goods from local artists.
Delicious coffee and bonus points for replacing the Christian Science Reading room.
