Great ice cream.
This was a nice place. We had some sandwiches and ice cream. It was very good. Try it!

1st visit. The place has been on my radar for about a year. Ordered the grilled cheese with tomato bisque, and my taste buds were dancing! Quaint little place...nice atmosphere. Staff was very bubbly and smiling. Look forward to my next visit.

Cute, clean place to grab lunch.. Food was good but not great. Food was very hot and fresh. Little pricey for what we got.
I was in Waynesville to watch a soccer player interested in our program, I had a few hours to kill between 2 games and the Butter Churn was perfect. I had a nice cup of coffee (2.50 for a medium size) and for lunch a BLT on croissant with a cup of soup. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great. I'll stop by another day.

Such a quaint little cafe! Great coffee, we had the Monte Cristo & a Reubin - both were great! Nice to find a little slice of heaven in the middle of the iconic antique shopping town of Waynesville, Ohio.
Great food. Great FRIENDLY service! Very Clean!! Lots of fun antiques to look at while you eat one of the best BLT sandwiches (mine on multi-grain). Also, good ice cream from Youngs Dairy. Worth your time and money!
Very good ice cream. It's either that or McDonald's down the street in Waynesville. It's clearly the better option.

Butter Churn offers delicious Paninis, hot soup and a variety of lunch specials. Along with a quaint and friendly atmosphere, the staff at Butter Churn are warm and welcoming. Seating is available inside and outside. Located on the main street of Waynesville, Butterchurn is conveniently surrounded by antique and eclectic shops. Best of all, Butterchurn offers yummy Youngs Dairy ice cream at resonable prices.
Ice cream was good, but the person doing the scooping needed to tie her hair back. She had thick blonde hair. When she leaned in, her loose hair was only and inch or so from the ice cream. That can't be sanitary.
What a delightful place to eat. So many delicious sandwiches and soups. Very nice staff and an old time look to the Cafe. I had a BLT and pumpkin soup. Definitely planning on returning!

LarderRoom...Felt like a little Ice Cream. Found the Butter Churn Cafe in Waynesville. They serve Young's dairy ice cream & milkshakes. The prices are extremely reasonable and the employees were so nice. They also offer soups, salads and sandwiches! I will be coming back soon for lunch! Check em out!
I love visiting this place! The people working there are so friendly & so willing to make a customer happy! They have a great menu selection but the service is what keeps me stopping back!
