Good coffee and breakfast sandwich...customer service is just ehhh...
Erie Island makes an amazing cold brew/toddy. 🥶
Food is very tasty and service is great. Atmosphere is the best. Coffee is decent, not amazing, but I am from Costa Rica so take that with a grain of salt.
First time visiting while in the area for a doc appt. Barista was friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful. Ordered a nice tasting coffee drink with a hint of chocolate & oatmilk. Vegan oatmeal cookie was delicious. Other bakery items were reasonably priced. I would visit again.
We ordered Erie Island for an office breakfast and it was amazing! Carla made it so easy to place my order, the food as always was fresh and tasty. There is a new favorite in the office, totally going to order again!
I come here minimum once a week to order a bagel and pastry. Everything was always fine, never an issue until today when I went to go pick up my order that was ready. I was waiting in line and I saw it just sitting on the counter as employees walked by it so I tried to get the attention of one of them. Some red headed woman screamed at me to get in line so I had to wait to pick up my order that I already waited to be made even though it was ready sitting there. I was horrifically embarrassed considering I had been yelled at in a cafe filled with people. Then some other employee lectured me that pick up was on the rack. I know it is but this time it was sitting on the counter while employees were goofing off walking past it. I’ve spent SO much money here throughout the months. You just lost a regular customer.
Everything was amazing their breakfast sandwiches are affordable big & delicious
My neice recommended the coffee, and how right she was. The staff were also great.
Ordered an espresso (Sunday 11/13, just before close, served by young white girl) and it was atrocious. Overly burnt and the beans weren’t ground to the correct size for an espresso. Has good luck with espresso at the downtown cafe but not yet at the Ricky River one. I tried calling to leave a message for feedback but phone number didn’t allow for messages - so I’m leaving the review here. (Read your response - following is a reply… It’s not pertinent - it’s just a description as I don’t know the person name. I don’t understand your focus on race?)
The coffee, the service, and the food items are great. I just don't understand why every time I walk in there it's like there's a fire going on. It's constantly full of smoke and it's annoying af. Other than that is a great little coffee shop, but I don't recommend until the weather breaks because the ventilation in there is garbage.
One of the best coffee shops in NE Ohio.
The drive through will ask you to tip which really puts a person on the spot. To the owners please pay your employees a livable wage. I will not be coming back until that policy changes.
The place has a very welcoming atmosphere. It looked impeccably clean and smelled divined. The staff was attentive and worked wonderfully with one another. It’s always nice to see good team work at play. My caprice ciabatta and coffee were delicious and the apple galette was incredible! This is definitely a place I would recommend to my family and friends and encourage anyone to visit.
Went here again, and once again, highly recommended. Friendly staff and went out of their way to help and get my order. Had their seasonal creamsicle mocha, and I was highly impressed. I will continue to come here when in the Cleveland area. Highly recommended.
I have loved every latte I've had there. It's rare that you find a product so consistent. The sandwiches that I've had are also amazing. Great indoor space, some outdoor seating in warmer weather, and a drive thru if you're on the go- couldn't ask for more.
Great egg bagel sandwich and chocolate chip banana muffin! I recommend the Signature blend
Just left. Went in with my seven year old. My day off and checking this place out for the first time. The server was rude. He didn't want to answer any of my questions. Then had the nerve to talk about me under his breath to his colleague while he got my coffee. Could it be because I'm puerto rican and he was caucasian? Prejudice behavior in FULL affect. Let's work of diversity and World communication so that to lesson the tension.
Good coffee, okay, but not great food. Don't really like when they ask for a tip through the drive-through window. For one, tipping through drive-through windows seems a bit excessive, but actually asking for a tip through the drive through window seems very entitled and rather passive aggressive, especially when there's already a sign on the window asking for tips, and anyone with a brain knows they can add a tip without the cashier asking them if they want to. Like, am i supposed to tip at McDonalds now?? Buying a coffee from this drive-through here is no different than going to McDonald's, and at least they have the decency not to ask for and peer pressure you into tipping. Tip: either pay your staff enough that they don't feel like they need to beg or pressure for tips, or just tell the staff to quit asking for tips from the drive-through. It's very off putting.
Good coffee. Love their drive through, great service.
Great breakfast food, good drinks. Clean trendy location.
