I love this place, it reminds me of my favorite coffee shop in my college's town. The baked goods are incredible! Better tasting and quality coffee AND less expensive than the chain coffee houses. Definitely my new go-to coffee bar!

Great coffee, unexpected and really delicious flavors. Yummy baked goods and bagels. Friendly staff! So happy to find good local coffee shops and this one ranks up there with the best!

We tried Lakeshore Coffee for the first time. Although it was OK, we probably won't be back. It's on busy Mentor Road and there really wasn't anything that says, "We need to come here again.". Coffee was decent, service was friendly, and the house was redone nicely into a coffeehouse. We wish they had fresh muffins or something rather than pre-packaged scones.

They did an amazing job on the old tea room. The coffee is real, this ain't no Dunkin donuts

Absolutely stellar customer service and excellent coffee! Five stars isn’t enough for my experience today. I had my hands full with my daughter and and one of the kind souls behind the counter offered to take my coffee out to my car for me. We were having a rough morning, so this made my entire day better. So grateful for these guys today! Very excited to head back here to try more of everything they offer.

Finally we have a great coffee place in the mentor area! This is my new go to. The staff is so friendly and the lattes are so good! I love what they’ve done with the old tea house as well!

First time in, and a little underwhelming. With it being "new" I think you may need a "woman's touch". Table that I was at needed wiped, the rugs needed vacuuming and where the wall is under the little counter next to the tv-had all coffee dripping under the counter. Its the little things when customers walk in that are noticed. Coffee was decent though.

Wish I could split my rating… Espresso was 5 stars. They know how to properly make espresso. Good crema, nice sweetness, balance, and complexity. Bagels, 5 stars. Enjoyed the bagel quite a bit, and was a “proper” bagel if that makes sense. Overnight oats…. 3 stars. PB&J was ok, but cold peanut butter is tough to spoon out properly with each bite. Chia seeds were a turnoff. That’s a me thing probably. Flavored latte…. 1 star. Starbucks and DD fans will love, they are SWEEEEETTTT. This coming from someone that likes plain cappuccino, straight espresso, and black coffee. Second visit: 2 cappuccino’s, 0 stars. They tasted fine, but we’re lattes. Many places can’t figure out how to make a cappuccino vs a latte. Maybe this will change. The latter (unflavored) was probably 4-5 stars, but not what I wanted per se. Other: Super frustrating that the place is laid out with all the parking on the sides/back, and you need to walk all the way around to the front along the street and sidewalk to enter. This plus no drive through plus snow in winter might be a killer unfortunately. Inside is really quaint and fun.

very nice to have a local coffee spot in mentor. staff was super friendly and helpful and coffee was good with lots of variety! But it didn’t feel like a coffee shop, the interior was like walking into someone’s apartment. I was hoping for more tables and chairs to sit at instead of limited lounge seating

Love this place! Has a cozy, warm, welcoming, masculine feel to it. Ordered the cold brew - it’s great! Nice alternative to the big chain coffeehouses. Staff is very kind and polite too. Will definitely be making this a weekly stop! Highly recommend.
