Today my wife and I went back to this restaurant. A very unpleasant and unprofessional waiter yelled at us because we wanted to put our bicycles inside. When I said to him that the owner told us we can have the bicycles inside, he replied saying that the owner wasn't there and we needed to get a chain to lock them outside. Everything was very unpleasant. We won't go back to this restaurant...
It is pretty loud in there. The food is excellent. My cappuccino was not hot, but tasted good.

So much to get into at this coffee shop. They sell different items like pop up items. They also have a community fridge to feed people in need. That’s the dopest and unselfish thing I’ve ever seen in a coffee shop.
A true community coffeehouse restaurant. The food offerings include vegan and veg offerings. Everything is good including the space. I enjoy going to the Root.
I have been going to the root for years. The atmosphere is friendly, the food is plated beautifully and tastes like heaven. My favorites are the molasses cookies and wet burritos mmmm yuuuuum! It's the place to be, for sure.
I love the Root Cafe, I've been going here for years! Not only is the atmosphere super relaxed and welcoming, the food is delicious! As a vegetarian, being able to choose from a whole menu of options is rare.

25 bucks for a sandwich and latte. The charged extra for milk in a latte.... not a sub milk but just milk.
Really enjoyed this place . Love the atmosphere and food was delicious. We did go for lunch and went back for breakfast. Alot of vegan options.
Vegan inspired food that is both delicious and creative. I never thought I'd be happy with just a salad. But they have a salad with apples, oranges and walnuts. All mixed with walnuts and I substituted sweet potatoes for beets and I was thrilled. The staff and the atmosphere made my time in the area a tad bit better.
Try the Mayan Mocha, it's amazing!
Not sure what all the fuss is about. I was dragged here against my better judgement. I've had better coffee at Dunkin or McDonald's. If you want a sausage or bacon breakfast sandwich don't even bother. They had no meat offerings at all when we were there. Oh--and make sure you bring the trendy amount of money too where you pay more than you should just to say you went there.
