I love the atmosphere and the staff! I was however surprised to find out that this establishment does not serve frozen beverages, as their competition in town does! The manager of the establishment at the time of our visit, Kayla, seemed highly competent, efficient and well liked by her coworkers! All were friendly and accommodating. I would love to make this a regular visit for our little family, but my little is very fond of his frozen drinks….
UPDATE: just took another bite of my muffin and it was frozen in the middle. (He said he made them fresh five hours before at 1 AM) Nice guy but my iced vanilla latte was watery, which then made it too sweet. It's either the espresso wasn't pulled right or he's using poor quality beans.
I want to continue to love this place. Sandwiches are still great, soup is good but that bearded cook is always eating on the line. Like come on bud, go in the back to do that. Use a glove on both hands and stop eating on the line. Thank you. Loyal customer.

The employees are so sweet and when you walk on you feel like a friend not just a customer! Such a warm environment!! And their sandwiches are amazing!! Along with their coffee and flavored tea!!
Nice little coffee shop downtown. I had the French melt and hot chocolate, they were both great.

The staff was very welcoming, considerate, and friendly. The grilled cheese was a 10/10, scrumptious! They let me sit inside away from the cold, even after closing which was very nice of them!

Fantastic little coffee shop in the heart of downtown Hillsboro, Ohio. Great coffee! We had a decaf Americano and a Pumpkin Latte, so nice for a fall morning. You won't be disappointed!

Found this little cute place in our travels to the woods in Hillsboro Ohio (Arcs of Appalachia). This place is super cute. The town itself, feels very Gilmore girls in fall. We witnessed a local generosity exchange between owners of a flower shop and the coffee shop,which you don't really see anymore. The food was very tasty,and healthy. A perfect place for brunch. The coffee was also very good. The place is reasonably priced as well. A must visit if you are ever out this way. Needed a place to stop and get some work done while on a long motorcycle trip - so happy I found The Daily Grind! Great service, coffee, and breakfast sandwich, and it was cozy and relaxing to sit and get an hour or two of productivity in before getting back in the saddle for a bit.
Absolutely LOVE this place! Awesome menu selection & everything I've tried is always so fresh & delicious! Love the coffee items! And the service is fast & friendly! If you ever do have to wait, it's definitely worth it!
