Was in town for a concert and wanted to try a local coffee shop. The reviews are excellent for this place, but unfortunately it was not the case in my own experience. The place was dirty ,the tables and floors had food crumbles all over the place. I got there around 11am and they didn't have any pastries of any kind left. The coffee was good, though.
A whole vibe. Coffee and pastries were delicious, and the atmosphere was very relaxing.

Super cool space. Happy to see Upper Cup expanding! Friendly staff, delicious (and not-too-sweet) iced mocha and breakfast sandwich with turkey! And the only person working was nice enough to make me food when the kitchen was minutes from closing. Recommended for anyone looking for a chill spot for great coffee and sandwiches. Looks like they have a large pastry selection earlier in the day. I will be back! ☺️
Got the Honduras pour over and loved it! Perfectly balanced and no acidic taste at the end. I love the coffee selection here 🥰 I also recommend the egg sandwich, the chopped jalapeños add a subtle kick
Really nice spot with good service and the coffee tastes great! Most reasonable prices for coffee/hot chocolate in all of Columbus!
Great atmosphere and kind staff. Coffee was about a 6/10. Very reasonable pricing!

I got an iced coffee - essentially they made a drip coffee over a giant cup of ice that made it was so watered down it tasted like bitter water. I would have asked them to fix it but the employee had already walked outside and around the corner. So I literally just threw my drink away it was so bad.

10/ 31/22 I 2alk in don't get greeted. The guy at the counter is super short doesn't even make eye contact nor speaks up. Wipes his nose before handling my food and coffee and... just to make the perfect cappuccino... that was the only good thing to come out of this experience. Glad he used gloves cus I would have just left. And went else where.

Popped in for some coffee on this rainy Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed what I got in return. Nice atmosphere and kind staff. Let the person behind the register kind of pick a drink for me, and was not disappointed! Delicious!
SAD!! What seemed promising turned into a bad experience. When I walked in and saw so many roasts on the counter I was encouraged…. Until I saw the prep. Shots were bitter. Late was almost sour. Pour overs being brewed directly into cups of ice. Couldn’t even drink it! I ordered a breakfast sandwich and that all that saved the experience from being a total disaster. It was at least mediocre. I don’t live in Columbus ….. but I’d never return here. Super gross.
Got coffee and cronuts that were equally delicious and dangerous (it would be very easy to over indulge on them). Would visit again if around
I want more than anything to like this place but every time I go I don’t get a welcome or a thank you from the staff. I always feel like I’m an inconvenience to them. As an example, on Saturday morning I bought quite a few pastries and several drinks. The only comment made by the worker was the price and then to call out my drink. Not a single smile or an ounce of gratitude for my service.
Every time I've been here, the crew has been welcoming. Drip coffee is spot on and the pour over choices are money! Grab a pastry. Super fresh and tasty.
