If you're traveling through Dalton in search of coffee, do not short sell this place. Excellent espresso pulls, full of flavors, with silky crema. No offense to Dalton, but I was shocked by the quality of coffee in this small mid-Ohio town.
Chill and relaxing atmosphere. The perfect place to sit and read! They don't really have food minus pastries, avocado toast, and baked oatmeal, but the baked oatmeal was really good and the scones looked delicious.
We had such a fun experience! Super nice baristas and very good drinks!
Hello! I just stopped at Pioneer Coffee house and as always😊 had a 5 star experience! The barista was very attentive and professional, and made an exceptional coffee exactly as ordered! I always experience consistency and quality here~ Keep up the amazing job you guys are doing, Pioneer Coffee Roasters! You are a refreshing show stopper in the coffee world.

Love the small town feel but big town flavor. I really appreciate their happy friendly faces. Seasonal drinks and their avocado toast are my favorite! I'm a big fan of the drive thru just because it's easy to grab and go to work, but the inside is very cozy and stylish. It's great place to hangout with friends.
I go to Pioneer Coffee in Dalton 1-2x/wk because the coffee is tops and it is a great place to get some online work done. The WiFi is fast and the baristas give great customer service every single time.
Great coffee. Can't rate the food but it all looks like standard pre-done food. I don't think anything is made on site. Coffee is good and service was fast. This is the second time we've gone and we plan on stopping every time we're going by!

I was so looking forward to trying PCR's coffee for so long, but since I was ignored and never waited on that didn’t happen. There was only one costumer inside seated on a computer at a table when I walked in, and after looking at the menu, I walked up to the server right behind the counter, who saw me, but seemed busy with perhaps making another order. The woman never acknowledged me, so after a minute of being ignored, I walked to the restroom. The Men’s restroom was very dirty (with brown rings in toilet) and water at sink didn’t work. Still, I decided to give it another go, and I walked back up to the counter to order. I smiled and waited another minute, but I was completely ignored again by the same woman who was just organizing and cleaning the coffee display now, but she refused to even acknowledge me as if I were invisible. I then heard a hacking cough from someone in the back, and that was it for me. I cannot say if their coffee is any good, but their service was loathsome. 2 stars for having a toilet that worked at least. **** Update: In response to your snide reply, I am changing this review to 'almost' one star. Frankly, I could care less if you believe me, but I was never approached by anyone, only ignored. May the sun shine on you too, and reveal the dust on your failed customer service. I understand everyone has an off day, and I apologize for expecting actual human interaction while attempting to order.

Amazing atmosphere to relax and enjoy or to get work done. A great selection of teas and coffee. My absolute favorite is the golden chai latte made with oat milk and a pump of vanilla. They have a variety of sweet treats and Hartzler's milk. Extremely kind, helpful, knowledgeable Baristas.
Always a refreshing place to be! I love the baristas - so friendly with a smile ready to share! I usually go through the drive-thru, but can't wait to have time to just sit and relax.
Love the Chai Tea! Great, friendly service and team has extensive knowledge about their coffee! Cozy, calm atmosphere if you go in, but the drive through is a plus for moms on the go!

This is my favorite coffeehouse hands down. Their lattes are always so well made and consistent every time I order. Their hours are great and I love the drive thru option! But what makes me come back every time is the service. The baristas seem happy here and are always SO kind and ask about your day.
I always grab a drink at the drive through. Fast and kind service. Go to drink is the iced maple breve!!
I once had a lavender oat milk latte that changed my life and I get it every time I'm in Austin texas because no one was able to make it like they do. Not to toot their horn EVER SO LOUDLY but Pioneer showed me that better does exist. I literally got 3 on the way to Columbus once just to make sure I had a constant consumption of the best iced latte in existance. Give them all your money. Or be fiscally responsible and just get one drink. But honestly, the former will bring you more joy.
Pioneer Coffee Roasters has some of the best espresso in our region. It is fresh, and it also makes their lattes and espresso drinks, taste better!
