Love the concept wish more businesses noticed the needs of the community and donated there meals to the drop in centers and homeless shelters rather than throw them out.

Beautiful space with fantastic high-quality drinks and INSANE pastries. Their pastry chef is beyond talented, and they offer such beautiful and creative creations (drinks and pastries alike) that can be appreciated by their art form alone -- but somehow they're also just as tasty as they are beautiful. How is that possible? (Follow them on Instagram to keep up with all the new pastry offerings -- they offer a new croissant flavor to try almost every weekend.) All served in a stunning, chill space to boot. There's a reason why there's often a line out the door on any random weekday. It's a must visit.

$7 Large (not even large maybe 14oz)cold brew + addons @$2 a literal joke. They have it backwards cold brew is obviously cheaper. Mediocre. price. Starbucks coldbrew is more for cheaper and in every possible way drastically better. Whoops.

The stuffed croissants are delicious but the biscuits... Oh so good!💗 I really like their practice of providing some of their delicious wares to those in need. So yes I'll pay a little more for my coffee for a charitable offering. I was fortunate to park right in front but those pastries are worth a walk.

Parable Coffee absolutely loves up to the hype! If i had to choose only one word to describe the food and drinks it would be “balanced.” I have never experienced food or drink that exhibited such perfection, highlighting each flavor in just the right quantity. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The only cons I could think of were parking and lack of labeling on pastry display. As for the parking- that’s just how downtown Columbus is, and there is plenty of parking within a 3-5 minute walk if street parking isn’t available! Drinks: (both 10/10) we got the iced matcha latte and an iced peach blossom matcha latte and both were absolutely delightful. Each note of flavor was evident but never overpowering. We noticed that each drink was made using a food scale, ensuring consistency. For those of you that complain about pricing- it’s 100% worth every penny. You won’t find another coffee shop with consistently perfect drinks, that use the highest quality ingredients available, and pay their employees a living wage! Food: apple strudel pop tart (10/10) and mixed berry muffin (9/10). The muffin top had a blissful sugary coating that provided the crunch necessary for a great muffin with a soft, moist, but crumbly interior texture. The only complaint is the inside of the muffin was a touch bland. Would have liked to have more flavorful fruit or the tiniest amount more sweetness. The pop tart was everything I could have wanted and then some. The flaky portion of the pastry was mind-blowing. It was light and flaky but in no way dry or crumbly. The filling was an explosion of flavor, but not overpowering or too sweet. This food and drink experience was the closest I’ve ever experienced to true perfection.

Great coffee and very relaxing atmosphere. It feels like being inside a jungle. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The quality of the coffee is great, but it is quite expensive. Definitely recommend the lavender latte. Matcha latte is just okay for those matcha snobs out there

Even with it being busy they didn't rush my first time order and I love the calm cozy energy in the space, lots of plants and delicious treats!

*pic of new summer menu included* absolutely love this place, such unique flavors for drinks esp with the new menu (although the sesame miso caramel latte is still my fav) and the cheddar biscuit scone things are amazing!! they ran out of hazel + hoji today so I’ll have to go back to try that one but the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks (even the new ones still in training) so def them for recs if you’re unsure what you might like. if I could give a 4.5 though, I would take of half a point bc it’s a hunt for seating and there aren’t a lot of outlets so not a good place to sit and study for extended periods of time. other than that always a great time :)

Parable Coffee (Owner) a week ago Hello, "We were in fact short staffed! And as helpful as you might think this review might be, it’s not. It for one, does not help our staffing issue if we are rated poorly. Secondly, we treat and give time to each guest and do not discount our interactions because of the line. Furthermore this review states that you chose to wait in line and we are unprecedentedly busy. it seems if you are looking for a more timely experience you could come either earlier or later in the day. Our busy hours are denoted on google to help you find the right time." Kaitlyn ( potential future customer ): If you're a business owner, learn to not criticize others reviews as you just did. You came off as a bit rude towards a paying customer. If it wasnt for your paying customers, you wouldn't be able to pay your rent or bills for your business. We're allowed to have an opinion whether it's a good or bad experience. That's part of what a review is for is to ensure a company can turn things around or keep a business running like they are for the betterment of the community. There's no need to be a negative nancy just because you got a bad review. It just makes you look bad as a business owner and will promote less business for your company. Instead; take a bad review with a grain of salt and make the necessary changes you need to make to ensure your company is one that ALL people will always come back to and rave about. With your type of attitude, I don't think ANYONE should come back. It's not cool to have a cocky business owner attitude as an owner of a business. That's just not good for business. Lesson learned should be that you'll take the bad and turn it around into something good in the long run and don't let the bad reviews make you angry and your business life will be much more smooth sailing.

I found this while roaming around the downtown area one day and it is my favorite coffee spot now. The atmosphere is beautiful and calming. The coffee is delicious, and the workers are very kind!

A beautiful atmosphere, very relaxing. The vanilla lattes add to that relaxing feeling of being there. I’m an artist so going here is a great place for my creativity to soar. I do recommend getting there earlier than later, it gets very very busy and the bakery items will definitely be sold out later in the day.

From standing in line to getting two chai lattes to go… it took 45mins. I decided to stop by because this place came highly recommended and I happened to be in the area. I thought it would be great to get a quick drink. I don’t know if they are extremely short on people, but I think so because we waited in line for more than 30 minutes to order. The cashier constantly left the register to deliver food, clean tables, and help with coffee. I don’t understand why they don’t have a dedicated person at the register considering there’s only one and every customer seemed to have many questions or maybe they were making long small-talk. Some positives are that they have WiFi and nice atmosphere as you can see from other people’s photos. I may come back when I have at least an hour of free time to grab a hot drink since the chai was really delicious.

The pastry chef here is top-notch. There are very unique offerings. Everyone is friendly and kind, and the atmosphere is great. If you don't like dealing with parking garages or are easily stressed by downtown parking, I recommend the metered street parking a few blocks down on Front St.

Best coffee in Columbus! Their cortados are dialed in perfectly and can’t go wrong with their drip coffee. Only downside is the Wi-Fi is often slow but that can be a good reminder to rest and not cram my entire day with productivity.
