Interesting dynamic, and they have live improv and stand up comedy almost on a weekly basis. Keep an eye out for that!

Poetry "Caldron", open mic. Friendly, college (alternative) crowd. Cafe is attached, but in a separate room.

Awesome place!! First time ever being here or hearing of this place. Drink was on point, and the place has an amazing vibe. Can’t believe I never knew about it.

This place is 100% a vibe. If you're looking for a hidden gem in Columbus, this is it. I got a CSNY vinyl and 2 Archie comics for $19 plus got to see an amazing little jazzy band with my yummy coffee cocktail. A++++

College coffee shop. It is neat and has friendly staff. Could use updating. Nice selection of books to ready. I didn't have food. We went for a concert in their library.

The baristas are always so kind and accommodating! I love the late-night hours, it gets me out of the house often. The Patty Cake Bakery cookies rock also, please don't stop selling them :)

I mean it’s fine. The coffee honestly isn’t that great. The atmosphere is cool but it’s honestly not very friendly, this place is for a certain demographic that isnt exactly your normal coffee drinker, however it doesn’t pretend to be anything it’s not. It’s the kind of place your girlfriend begs you to come with her to so you go but you’d never go to alone. It’s pretty small and cramped.

Neat place! Haven't found another coffee shop like this one - nice place to study or get something with a friend. The coffee is strong and tastes good, also a decent selection of tea.

Kafe Kerouac has been amazing to me every time I've visited. The prices are very good, although not listed, and the coffee (and chai) is amazing! Their baked goods are good, I've only tried the bagels. As you can see through my pictures, their bathroom is a little all over the place, but in that same way it is something unique that only Cafe Kerouac can offer. I hope you enjoy this place as much as I do.

I've been many times & just find most of the baristas aren't too friendly here, and don't seemed too enthused about having to help customers. I've worked as a barista myself and visited many coffee throughout the country, and I find one of the continual staples at cafes are friendly baristas.. it's a shame a cool spot like Kerouac doesn't have this - I'll be grabbing my coffee elsewhere!

Such a great hole in the wall spot, very popular with locals, fun and tasty drinks, and great book and record selection!

Love it here! Great space for chatting, reading books, studying, and everything else you'd want in a coffee shop. Not to mention the plentiful shows held every week, this is a great cafe.

Went in for two large French vanilla ice coffees and they literally tasted like water. I also said light ice but I love the aroma of the shop.

Always good coffee and great times there. I usually go on Wednesday night for their open mic poetry night which is always great.

This Kafe isn't trying to be anything it's not. It is authentic and focuses on a simple ambiance, cheap coffee, and a quiet space to work/chat/play games/read. I love this place because it's not a pretentious coffee shop at all. It may have some folding chairs and random outdoor tables but the quality of the experience is always good. I've been coming here for a few years now and I wish there were more places like it these days.

This place rules. Friendly baristas and clientele. Feels cozier than other local coffee shops. Get an everything bagel.

Very cute coffee house records and bar. Nice atmosphere. If I was a local this would be a daily stop.
